Ah, Steve learned some valuable lessons. Never make a promise you can't keep and be very careful how you word a promise. A promise to do your best to keep someone safe is a whole lot easier to keep than a promise that you will keep them safe.

I loved their shared confusion about the word bromance. Very funny. Nice story overall.

I had tears in my eyes with the Grace/Steve apologize bit.
Go Danny for saving yourself while hurt and in the hospital.

Another great cliffhanger after a very intense chapter.

Poor Danny, though he does have a very resourceful Steve on the other side of the door, and he's pretty resourceful himself.

Great cliffhanger at the end of this. I like that Steve woke up with a foreboding feeling, and that he wasn't able to shake it until he'd spoken to Danny.

I like that some headway was made with Ed, and the scene with the team visiting Danny was nice, as was the ending scene.

Oh dear, it doesn't bode well that Victor knows where Danny is. Nice building of tension and suspense.

Lovely fluffy scene at the end. It's good to have Danny awake, asking after Grace (and weed).

Hopefully Danny will be alright, and Steve won't have made promises that he couldn't keep about Danny living. Promises he probably shouldn't have made, but couldn't help, but make.

Excellent action in this, and another good cliffhanger. Very intense.

Good opening chapter, because it starts out so routine, but ends with a rather nice, unexpected cliffhanger.
