Yeah, Victoria is a self insert character in disguise. There's no way some random person would come in to this conversation halfway through and not be like, 'WTF are you talking about?" No one is that "intuitive" unless they're literally reading someone's mind/a seer/a fantasy creature in disguise.

Victoria's actions here are just... so random. Why did she accept that the men are gods with basically no proof? Why would she be so calm? You state that she's nervous/scared but she doesn't act like that at all. And what kind of relationship does she have with Sarah? No random college friend is going to wager themselves like that. Did Sarah take a bullet for her once? Give Victoria a kidney? This level of trust is ridiculous for a character that isn't set up at all or given any backstory or setup.

Why is some rando friend being introduced? It seems very unnecessary. Is she a self insert character or something?

Oh my word what a conclusion. I wasn't quite expecting it, in a way. It was an ethereal, glorious, magical ride. Especially loved the dwarf mountain, The god-elf-girl banter and of course the delicious thrill and tension between our favourite heroine and archenemy.

Ooo Sarah that was indeed a miscalculation but goodness, equal parts disturbing and thrilling too. I also believe vowing that you won't be caught unawares again is too big a promise to throw around willy nilly, especially when it comes to you and him. Loving this

OH this was lovely! Short but just as sweet as the golden apple. Love that when they finally did come together it was under entirely different circumstances than either anticipated. Great story!

This story was wonderful, I enjoyed many moments of genuine laughter. I have an affinity for stories that meld mythology and folklore with Labyrinth. Yes, I enjoyed this immensely, but upon finishing it, I felt there were still too many loose ends. It felt as if it ended a bit too abruptly, and left a sense of being unfulfilled. I do hope that one day the epilogue will clear up this sense of discontent I feel at the end. Jareth and Sarah could surely not have not completed their portion in the story arc, surely? There's more here, I can feel it, it's almost tangible...

I just binge read all eighteen chapters. This was fantastic. I am so looking forward to an epilogue!
