whoa I want to see Roy/Shep

Bah, if Shepard wants to be in the Military then I'll let her join it but goddang I'll be training her ass to for it so that she could do it properly. Though I'll let her choose the military life or the civilian type.

I like your Mass Effect stories. And this I like the most. Your idea to go to Benezia for help and have her be an active character is great. The bigest problem with most self inserts, for me is, that the writer becomes to powerfull and it feels as if he wins all the fighting scenes alone. Somehow ich think it wound be nice to let Roy stay an N1 for some time. Maybe give Shepard some more action time. She is supposed to become an N7.
I hope we can read more chapters. This is fun reading.

This chapter really broke me. Shalia and Roy came off as teenagers in this chapter in their mentality and surprise at reactions. They just felt over-exaggerated and a bit dumb. The trained commandos feeling surprised and fear at Roy tensing up? Wouldnt high-level pros just take notice and prepare? What's with all the anime body language reactions and exclamations?

And Roy just came off as a kid. Hes an open book and slow on the uptake. Having strangers need to constantly reassure really makes him seem less of anything worth respecting. Also why do these high level professionals feel the need to reassure him or show him any extra niceties? Hes a grunt who came accross some info and acts like it. He doesnt have any money, accomplishments or even dress and act in a manner worth respecting. Toss him in a cell with secretaries and a recording device, milk him of info, tag him and put him up in a hotel. Take full control of the situation from him because other than the info itself he's a nobody and acts like it.

Wouldnt an asari matrairch have his full file sitting on her omnitool by now? A team checking up on all his connections? Asking him on his lack of background? Asking the basic info of who told him? Nobody then how did you receive it?

Shouldn't he have already prepared responses to the basics and not acted so shifty?

This chapter to me dumbed down the story and had me shaking my head constantly. Really unexpected too because till now nothing really stood out as lacking in logic or unrealistic in this story.

I would like to think that Roy is going to become someone like Gar Saxon from seventh season of star wars the clone wars in near future while Aliana will be Bo Katan. Up till now she has been like agent Carolina from red vs blue with her behavior. I would like something like Gar Saxons super commando armor, weapons and gear in mass effect universe.

I have really no idea why I ended up reading this fanfic, not that it isn't great (it is amazing), but I have no knowledge of the games at all so this was really interesting to read. Here's to hoping for more exciting chapters in the future!

not gonna lie, the story and plots great but I hate Roy, he sticks his nose in other people's business way to much and between his fucking with the shrinks life like a bitch the poor guy hes no place in the millitary with his mind set

This story has been labeled incorrectly in my opinion. I really wanted to give it a shot hence why I kept trying to read all the way through chapter 13 but it definitely wasn't what I expected. It's labeled as Adventure/Sci-fi which is correct, but the bigger label should have been Angst/Adventure/Scifi. Up to this point there has been so much emo stuff that if you are a fan of it, this would be an amazing story for you, but I was more expecting gun blazing fights in space with an SI, and so far the SI knowledge has pretty much done absolutely nothing.
