(I have committed to review all the Judge Dredd stories, and also made a New Year's resolution to give 365 reviews during 2015. So, here is a Dredd review and review 15 of 365!)

I think this has some very great potential - the disjointed imagery is powerful and the word-choices unique, engaging and interesting. It has a litany quality to it, which is an interesting choice.

My concern would be that there is nothing here to specifically tie it to MaMa, or Dredd; it could apply to any character with that kind of emotional history. Also, I don't know if the imagery is specific enough - it's rather vague and floats over the surface of the subject.

I think it is a good poem - I don't like the style, but I recognize the genre and I think you are handling it well here - but I am not sure it really connects to the fandom; it needs a larger narrative or frame in order to connect it to Dredd.
