Are you catching my disease? And by disease I mean that odd quirk I have of working a facsimile of the title into the story itself. :) I am teasing. Regardless, I absolutely adored this epilogue. It's good to know that Leliana survived her escape from Tevinter, which, to be fair, most of us assumed that she would, still. Is nice to know for certain.

Y'know...I really do love your Cassandra. Rather than risk the fact that Zanneth might leave her, she delivered Zanneth back to her people, then quietly bowed out of her life. I mean, they stayed connected, loosely, but it was Cass' true belief in the romance of love...that if you let true love go, it will return to you, no matter what. It makes me happy in all sorts of ways, and I am thrilled to see the reunited. Also, Zanneth's grandmother is amazing. I love her and she is wise and wonderful. Thank you for finishing this fic in the best of ways :) Happy endings forever!

It is bittersweet. Yay for happy ending and sad for it to end

I just read this whole thing this afternoon and I'm hooked...which is bloody typical considering it's about to end. Loved the return of Leliana and your Amell, although as Leliana isn't deaf and all I assume this is a sort of AU from your original story...or I suppose she could have been magically healed. I'm hoping for the latter because I feel like poor Leliana has suffered enough in your stories. What has she ever done to you?

I really enjoyed Cassandra and Zanneth. This is definitely the kind of fairytale romance that Cassandra seems to enjoy so much though she's probably too involved to realise that right now. Rescuing the damsel in distress followed by a dramatic case of love at first sight and then a daring escape. Maybe she can commission Varric to write it for her at a later date.

Looking forward to the epilogue.

I _may_ have freaked out a bit when Zanneth and the others found Leliana. Okay, I was freaking out a lot! My lovely bard in danger switches me into "Pissed Off Solona" mode. :D Leliana's bravery is just awe-inspiring. Very interesting how they freed the elf; that spell should come in handy for Solona later in some other adventure. I loved this little story. It was absolutely brilliant. I'm assuming the epilogue will consist of some Leliana/Solona/Cass/Zanneth smut. Just kidding. Maybe. Nah, I'm joking. Seriously, though. Sunshine and bunnies epilogue, right? Yes?

Ah so *this* is how they manage to smuggle Zanneth away from her Tevinter captors. How, very, very clever of Solona, and brave of Leliana to go along with with it. I wholeheartedly approve, though it is quite upsetting how the venture turned out. Leliana injured and ill, Solona flinging fireballs and everything, Cassandra being crushed under the weight of guilt, and Zanneth being the only one to say anything reasonable. I still think that this is a beautiful ending, because it is realistic and it is the way these ventures often turn out. Rarely is there always a blissful, happy ending where everyone involved and concerned is totally all right in the end. This bespeaks real life, its tragedies and sorrows, and sometimes the other people are feel pain in our pursuit for love. But it is love that endures that pain and love that makes life worth the living, and I"m quite sure that Leliana, when/if she recovers, will have no judgment for Cassandra whatsoever. Solona might fling a fireball or two, but I'm quite certain she won't mean it...much.

aww, alas we have come to the end... so soon. Epilogue awaits...

i really enjoyed the first chapter its really good i liked the way you shown Cassandra reaction to the warden and Liliana romance its just the way i hoped the game would have done. Also it you write really well cant wait to read chapter two .

First of all, I'd like to say again that I love the relationships between all these women. I love the trading that goes on etc.
Second, I can't wait to see how they use magic the free Zannith.
Third, I like the part where Zanneth says that she married Sinna and, though he could not please her and she didn't return his affection in the same way, she felt a duty to do her part in securing the future of the Dalish by producing children. I have often thought of how the Dalish would most likely not be accepting of same sex relationships because they put so much importance on preserving their ways and securing thier future, how every Dalish child is so very important. It makes for interesting storylines.
Anyway, great chapter! Excited for the next!
