Nice chapter. As someone who has never watched the anime filler arcs, I am quite curious how this turns out, especially in regards to Tatsuki's developement (totally agree with your opinion that she was criminally underused in canon. But I'm not sure how she will manage fighting with a sword.). And since I doubt that your story seperates canon and filler as much as the original did, there some great potential for three-way-interactions and battles between filler factions, Aizen and our group. But for now, I will just look forward to the next chapter when the conflict with the bounts will propably gain traction.

I love this story so much, I've read it like 3 times now. I really hope that Yoruichi teaches Kirika that kido/Hakuda technique, the name of which I can't remember. it seems like that and Bankai are sort of the next obvious step. I wonder when her inner hollow will awaken, if it does at all seeing as she's technically has the potential for being a Visored.

This was a nice further lead into the Bount arc, with a nice short battle to start things off. It is interesting seeing a more organized approach to it than I remember from the anime (does have me very curious how you're going to handle the Amagai Shuusuke arc given that had a lot of potential for some Soul Society political intrigue with the story concerning Ruruichiyo and Shu but only did surface level stuff and given how well you handle that in Prepared Rebellion...). Looking forward to how you integrate this arc's story into the overarching stuff with Aizen, maybe even have the mod souls contribute to whenever the Arrancar show up, plus how things are going to be affected by things turning out differently at the end of the Soul Society arc. Keep up the good work.

I don't remember too much about the Bounts, so I don't think they'll be too much to handle. That being said, you've made changes in various characters, so perhaps the Bounts will be more of a challenge.

I really hope Tatsuki will gain powers of her own. I really liked her in the anime/manga, and I was sad that she got very much sidelined. Also, is she and Kiriki going to end up together?

Good on Kirika for being tired of Urahara's secrets, her brother's bullheadedness, and being condescended to in general.

I honestly don't remember much of the Bounts, but I don't feel like they'll be a huge threat, though I could be wrong.
