Great story!

this totaly deserves some followup. I am currently building up the adventure from here on. does the company get along easier with some extra suspicion towards Gandalf and some extra respect for hobbits? For better or for worse?

Omg is the adventure ready for us lol that would be a funny story to write! I imagine they would be smart enough to give Gandalf the ring!

This was such a love story! I had a smile on my face the whole time. It was just so well written, the plot is unique, and I loved how it all worked out. Thank you for the story.

It's always bothered me so, so much how Gandalf handled roping Bilbo into the quest. This is a fantastic little fix-it. And I'm always happy to see Hobbits taking people off guard with subtle BAMFery.

Firstly, I love that four-year-old Frodo stood up to Gandalf in spite of his use of THE VOICE, and he so effortlessly charmed all 13 Dwarves.
Next, the fact that the Wizard was outmaneuvered by Bilbo's family was truly inspired, and I loved it!

The story of the Hobbits wandering until they turned their land into the Shire was beautiful and appropriate.

Lastly, I wouldn't mind a follow-up story of how the quest changed with two Hobbits instead of one. And if Addy and Noddy are anything like Pippin and Merry, that I would love to read!

Honestly, what a killer line! Dark and foreboding, full of warning. I love it so much! This is actually the second time I've read this fic, but it's been so long that I forgot about that line.

this is so, so cute! I just reread it and I have to say, I love it still. I just love what you did with hobbit culture and relations! And then the dwarfes! Ah!So cite! Let's just hope that Gandalf has lerned something from it
