AHHHH an update! Such a good chapter, well worth the wait!

I was just thinking about FanFic authors who had seemingly fallen off the edge of the earth. Good to know I was wrong. Mostly.

Honestly this updates makes up for the fact that I graduated university in the middle of a pandemic. I remembered more of the plot than I thought I would (thank goodness).

Honestly, I admire the way you write Sarah so well. I always loved the way she dove in headfirst to the fantastical circumstances she puts herself in. I really thought Jareth was gonna her her, I honestly would’ve let it happen I’m not brave enough to knock myself out or bite my tongue off.

I was going to ask who you would cast and Fen and then you answered for me so thank you I agree. I might go reread that with his voice in mind. On that note I laughed out loud when you said “I feel it too” in the authors note.

I think I’m rambling now but thank you for all your hard work, your words, and I hope the world is treating you as well it can me. I for one (despite the consequences) an still trying to be kidnapped by the Fae.

So, now I'm curious. Was losing his right hand metaphorical, referencing losing Idunn instead? Inquiring minds are really racing trying to put all the pieces together. I'm guessing Bragi's involved somehow or other. It'd have to be someone knowledgeable of Idunn's ties.

Phew! Wow. And again phew! That's about where I am right now, in many ways haha but specifically right now due to this installment. You do know how to surprise us. Also I was incredibly pleased to see the update email, especially as I had been thinking about you today (in a non obsessive stalker kind of way!) . I too haven't updated my meager effort in 84 years (actually 1 year but I did have a baby somewhere in there lol) so I've been thinking about how I might go about finding time, inspiration and motivation to do that and then wishing for something of yours to read because a) you are a little bit magical and b) I might find something to give me a push!
Soooooo...the nitty gritty! That was definitely a chewy, gritty, intense kind of mouthful that becomes a very full kind of stomach ache, ok, weird metaphor notwithstanding, some brilliant dialogue and info here. I *think* I'm on the same page. Sarah was fantastically brave as usual and then understandably fatalistic too. Jareth is mad, got it. And yet I still feel like I'm missing something. The old magic perhaps? No idea where that will go. And the boys, concerned that Loki may not play fair but who does in this world? Oooo all very enticing. More please, if you could, sometime ;)

Yaaaaaaaaay! So happy to see an update from you! Not just for the story but also knowing you’re okay. I get way too paranoid when writers disappear for a bit and my imagination runs wild. I can’t wait for Sarah and Jareth to meet again :)

Fabulous chapter. Where I live I am reading this at midnight and Loki appearing in the garden (I am assuming this is Loki) pit of the blue absolutly freaked me out! I havent been so freaked in in this fic since that moment between Jareth and Sarah in the library at night. ahhh.

Also the scene between Idunn and Tyr was just perfect. I love how you weave their relationship. I think I may almost enjoy them even more than Sarah and Jareth. hard to say though when everything here is just amazing! hehe!

Anyhow, can't wait for more. I find it super interesting this chapter took longer but it reads so nicely and the story progresses so beautifully. Great work!

Now if I could please borrow your giant ass brush which you mentioned earlier, that would be fab!
