Oh my! What a well written scene! I love how that precarious knife's edge of a balance between father and son's relationship was so beautifully highlighted in this story. I love all the emotions the two go though in their head, but not voice aloud. Such a fun read!

Oh noooo, this is so painful. The relationship between these two is so complicated; I wish there was more love between them-or at least, an outward show of love?
