Excellent one shot. Great inclusions for Belle and Will too.

This is lovely. Emma with compassion and understanding. Killian still struggling with where he has found himself and whether/not he deserves. His thoughtfulness to Belle is wonderful and no one else has written it. Will's nightmares, no one else has written that either. But I am most impressed with Emma who is not a tremendously touchy feeling person but who gives of her heart and support to her pirate because he needs her right then. Thanks for writing.

I really, really love this story! You just told it so well and with such feeling - it really got to me. Killian feeling the need for revenge again makes total sense with Gold back in town. Not only was it ALL he had for so long, but now he has even more reason to be wary and even more to protect. It's really beautiful how he can read and immediately alleviate Emma's fears that she isn't enough to to keep him there, and it is in turn lovely that Emma assures him that darker instinct isn't going to turn her away from him. And then, oh my goodness - I love, love, LOVED that he was going to go help Belle in the library. That scene at the end with the three of them plus Will Scarlet eating breakfast and enjoying a moment of peace and place to belong is simply perfect!

Shit. The "I choose every part of you" got me SO BAD. I thought I was going to explode from feels! God, and that ending with the Killian x Belle x Will brot3 Emma bringing pancakes was EVERYTHING I DID NOT KNOW I NEEDED. And they all fit so well together, all lost their loves at one point, all misfits. But there in that room they're just home... It's like, ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME? :((((( Such a wonderful oneshot!

I was thrilled at the Emma/Killian relationship going on, then you had to go and bring both Will and Belle in here and just break my heart.
Fantastic work that hits all my weak points and makes me long for this kind of representation in the actual show.

I love how you included Will in their little band of misfits (Hook, Will, and Belle). They're an odd trio but I like the thought of them. Especially the thought of Hook and Will as best friends!

This could very well be how Emma "fights" for Hook that Adam & Eddy circulated in the press a while ago. Cute Story. Personally I don't have a problem with "revenge" used in the recent press. Its just wordplay to spicy up the interest. It sure beats the hero defeating the villian which will happen on the show. Because make no mistake Killian has always been the hero to Rumple being the villian. So Killian will be the one to defeat Rumple this time round after all they did tease a fight between them twice in Killian's first episode on the show. Before anyone jump what about what this will do to Emma. It is not her fight and on a level I think she will understand. Killian's issues with Rumple are his own and will be dealt with by himself. After all the crap he has endured directly from Rumple he more than deserves his moment to rise to the challenge and shine. Oh this got away from me so sorry for hijacking your review thread.

Really enjoyed this! I could feel the emotions when Emma found Killian leaving the apartment and I love that she encouraged him to go after she realized what he was doing and that it was helping Belle out as well. Very well written. :)
