You know that empty feeling you get after finishing the final instalment of a series? That's exactly how I feel right now. It's incredibly bittersweet to know that this is the end, but let me tell you, that ending was very fitting for the story. And I loved how you promoted Harding and Cole, I can see why they would do well in their new roles :)

Let me just say that I went back to ch 1 today to refresh my memory because I didn't remember where I left off before you started updating again, and now here I am, 68 chapters later!
Don't know why but this Varric romance really came out of the left field for me, though it actually felt pretty natural with the flow of the story! Unusual pairing, but very sweet nonetheless, I look forward to the official end of the story!

Wow, what a chapter! I can sympathize with Anders, I tend to get stuck in my head too, worrying about the future. And the bathing explanation makes perfect sense, although I’ve always thought of Anders as rather shameless about nudity to begin with, compared to other characters with similar backstories. I’m so happy this was the pairing! I thought it might be, but with all the other possibilities, I didn’t want to assume anything. Also, it’s your fault I ship this now XD. I adore this story.
