I really enjoy this story you’ve created. I copy and save each individual quote you share at the top of each chapter. I love them all. I really want to find out what happens next.

Please update again. I was starting to like Cap's and Katie's father and daughter relationship! It's a really good story and I enjoyed every chapter on it.

Its a nice rewrite and it made me want to reread your story. I didn't realized I was still waiting for a part 3 its been so long. Are you thinking of continuing your story? I would definitely be interested to read up on Katie's future through the Iltron arc and her getting to know her extended family. Thanks for your writing!

I'm going to need to put this story on the backburner and come back to it another time. I love the premise and the first chapter or two were wonderfully written, especially the talk between Katie and Peggy.

And then we get to this chapter and I'm rereading the same thoughts in the MC's head as in the other chapters, practically verbatim. There's no growth or development in her thought processes or even the conversations people are having with her. It's all she's scared that she'll be hurt by him, someone telling her to open herself up to Steve, her denying what her problem is without verbally stating what the real issue is, rinse and repeat.

As someone who had a father appear from nowhere after a crazy amount of time, I fully understand just how much it can screw with your mind. The difference is that I wasn't 65 when it happened and despite Katie's outward appearances, that's exactly what she is. She's got to have a huge amount of life experiences even if she was never a SHIELD agent yet the character comes across as someone being mentally stuck at the same as she stopped physically ageing who also stuck her head in the sand for the last forty decades and tried to pretend the world didn't exist.

I'm not sure if it's her inner monologue, that we don't know anything about her, that Fury and Coulson are treating her like a 20-something niece who needs guidance, a combination of these things or something entirely different. Whatever it is, I can't mentally relate the actual daughter of Peggy Carter who lived the years between the crash and the start of the story with the young woman I'm reading about.

ug... this was as far as I could go. your character just... doesn't make any sense... you say that she is sixty five but feels twenty five sometimes... well she acts like a fifteen year old. she has the emotional maturity of a teenager. and it seems like she has the experience of one too. maybe it's cause I'm a philosophical person by nature and I tend to hang out with similar people but I have never encountered any adult who is 25 let alone 65 who acts like that. plenty of kids and teenagers... but no adults. so sorry but I can't continue.

When I saw a new chapter I went back and re-read the whole story this far to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything.
I don't think there's much need to re-work the story as such. Having it all fresh in mind I can see where it might benefit from a thorough proof read, but it's mostly to catch typos and the occasional incorrect word usage.
I would be very keen to see this story continue up to, and even beyond, where the MCU is at the moment. You could even incorporate some of the TV stuff if you were feeling wild. I'm sure Katie would be overjoyed to learn that [spoiler]Coulson is still alive[\spoiler].

Do what you think is the best! Because either way, I am definitely here supporting and rooting for this story!

This story doesn't really need a rewrite, in my opinion anyway, but if thats what makes you feel better about it, then absolutely do what you need to! Regardless, I am very happy that you are back!

After all this time you’re alive! I’m happy to know that you haven’t abandoned this story. It has been one of my favourites since I started to read in Fanfiction, so when I received the email it surprised me. I hope you won’t stop writing (sorry if I made any mistake, English isn’t my first language)
