actually I'm going to correct myself, both comments are right about this one. I don't know how you know Winter and Qrow before the release of volume 3. The problem with this series is the lack of info on the lore, but then again you started this series at the end of Vol 1 of RWBY, during the time when RT haven't released that much info about their world. I understand if you don't want to re-write this series, cuz it'll end up having more problems and it'll end up being abandoned due to lack of Interestest. But just like my last comment, I don't think your writing anymore stories and I don't think your going to read this anyway. So I'm just gonna leave this comment here.

Before I read this I saw two comments regarding this, One recently (2018 comment) might be understandable (though he just didn't get the memo), one (2017 comment) got it completely wrong. Guessing by their comment and the date he posted their comment, J-Dude2470 didn't checked the dates both this fic and Vol 3, which is absolutely their mistake. I don't know if your still checking these comments, or writing fics at All. But I hope it's worth calling it out.

So, what? You made a story where JNPR takes RWBYs spotlight and that's it? That's pathetic. If you could at least make your own plot and it was just RWBY has vanished, that would be fine. Following the show plot line and just replacing RWBY with JNPR? Wow, fuck that unoriginal crap.

Even though none of the smaller details line up with cannon whatsoever, as I am reading this after the ending of V4, for a direct shot in the dark, this miniature installation turned out very well. As well as taking into account absolutely nothing is going to line up anyway because of a major breach in the time-space continuem, and blocking out V3 and V4, I can imagine this being a very plausible outcome. As always, great job.

*Sigh* I was afraid of this. I was afraid this story would eventually jump right onboard the "making shit up" train, but I'd hoped V3 had at least gotten partway through before you had to start making stabs in the dark...

This is really sad... Making up the name "Siegfried" for Jacques was annoying enough in Aliens Among Us, but this just took a HARD left turn.

I mean, Winter being younger and unable to fight properly blindsided me like a saber to the eyes, given till then her actions seemed appropriate. Volume 3 even mentions her investigating things like the stolen Paladins, so I never questioned that we were dealing with the REAL Winter. Not fan-speculation Winter.

And then Uncle Qrow was a bad guy, working for someone literally named "The Queen"? And Cinder, Torchwick, her followers? They're not agents of something darker and more insidious than the foibles of man, working to divide and weaken humanity until all shall fade? They're literally just making this super-dust in some kind of industrial scheme?

Look, I get wanting to think that maybe all agents involved are imperfect people, doing awful things with the real aspiration of doing good in their own eyes... But this pales so much in terms of stakes, compared to the ambitions and ruthlessness of Cinder, and of EVERYONE involved with Salem's little coven.

And... I know it's because this was being written in the gulf between seasons. I get that. Both first volumes set a more fanciful "come git sum!" sort of tone, so who could have predicted the intensely dark, mature, and maudlin route Volume 3 took with its characters and its setting?

But fuck, I REALLY wish you guys had gotten to this part much later on, so you were aware of, and could write around the direction Volume 3 gave for where the series was headed.

I'm so bummed right now... I've spent the last week at LEAST binging this story up to this point, asides and everything. Now we've gotten to Convergence, and I almost don't even want to read it... I'm afraid for how much this non-canon followup will taint what's coming next, because it may go where I simply CANNOT follow...

Jaune beat Torchwick? Really? There's no way unless Torchwick was really holding back for some unknown reason.

Roman and Neo aren't gone, yay! Those two are the best tag-team ever.

I hope they return to kick ass...maybe on the side of the good guys? Probably not, but who knows eh?

Eh, I kinda liked this. The ending makes me think this is related to your Emergence series. Is it? The premise of that series doesn't really interest me, but if it ties into this, I might read it. Good work!

Finally. Took me six months of having forgot about this and choosing to focus on other things at the start of its completion, but now I can finally read convergence.
