ddsorenson22 chapter 89 . 3/21/2019
I love this collection of dragons! I not only use them as reference for your series, but for other stories with dragons I don't know about. Thank you so much!
DareDreamer chapter 1 . 11/18/2018
These sound like modern-day entries in a database. I'm loving this!
Dragonasaurus chapter 87 . 8/14/2018
Greetings and Salutations Hawktooth, yep I'm back to do my final (for know) review for you on the Dramillion Species Entry, let me just say I was originally very disappointed that we where only getting one knew species for the final season RTTE but when I saw the dragon itself, dam did the species make up for it, I love the Dramillion and the entry you've done for it, I espicially liked the part about how some people would view it's fire changing ability as something related to demons or sorcery, makes a lot of sense to see it that way in more primitive society. Everything about this species from its parrot slash dinosaur sort of look to its abilities and the fact we saw a freaking Titan Wing version of it during the finale godam does this dragon rock, anyway great works as usual Hawktooth and I look forward to your next entry whenever that may be its been confirmed their are at least 3 new species of dragons in the next film so at any rate we might just be able to finish this Book of Dragon Version 2 at 90 species so until next time this Dragonasaurus Signing Off.
Dragonasaurus chapter 86 . 5/24/2018
Greetings Hawktooth, it is a pleasure to see this Book of Dragons fanfiction updated once more with a brand new dragon entry, as always fantastic work with describing this dragons nonexistant behaviour and appearnce HawkToothand thank you for answering all my questions as usual, after thinking for so long we were never going to get another Alpha Species in this book, this entry really made my day. Though if that unknown dragon from Serpent's Heir does turn out to be a Doomfang I am going to be so freaking happy that they included it in the canon, until next HawkTooth I look forward to your future Dramillion entry and hopefully many more dragon species to come, this is Dragonasaurus signing off.
Dragonasaurus chapter 85 . 2/12/2018
With only a few days left before the release of season 6 RTTE Hawktooth, I present my fourth and final (for know) review to you, loved this dragon and love this entry Hawktooth, escpicially how you tied it to the Legend of the Mongolian Death Worm. I also enjoyed how this species treasure hoarding behavior was a call back to more classical dragon behavior and I agree with you that this dragon definitely fits better into the Boulder Class than the Mystery Class anyway not much else to say but thanks for the great entry and I look forward to the next one, until then this Dragonasaurus Signing Off.

P:S I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and say that the recently made cannon species you are going to do an entry for is the Silkspanner from the comics?
Dragonasaurus chapter 84 . 2/10/2018
Combine a Vulture with a Hyena and you get the Grim Gnasher also known as the Stone Sentinel's natural enemy and the Terrible Terror's evil cousin twiced removed, while I know this isn't one of your favorite dragon species Hawktooth, I and all your other reviewers still appriceate the effort you put into its entry, I specially like how you tied it to one of the original book dragons by having its other name be the Death Darter, very clever Hawktooth I love a good shout out every know and then, anyway thank you for this great entry and know their remains only one more dragon entry for me review until the next season comes out, I hope your looking forward to it as much as I am for know this Dragonasaurus Signing Off.

P:S what do think of my idea of the Grim Gnasher and Stone Sentinel's being natural enemies and the Terrible Terror and the Grim Gnasher being closely related.
Dragonasaurus chapter 83 . 2/9/2018
Let it be known I full heartedly agree with you Hawktooth on the removal of the Fear Class being a bad idea and let's be honest this truly one species of dragon that should be feared by both humans and dragons alike, though from one reptile lover to another I imagined you be just as fond of this species as I am, I espicially like how you connected your other serpentine dragons the Viperwyrm and the Ampithere to it through lineage and ancestry and to be honest I did actually think of those two species when I saw it in the series for the first time, all in all great dragon and great entry Hawktooth well done, anyway two reviews down and two more to go I am on fire, not literally of course because that would be both painful and eventually tragic, until the next review Hawktooth this Dragonasaurus Signing Off.

P:S while I did assume this species ranked up there for you as a snake lover, I am curious what is your favourite new species from season 5 Hawkrooth?
Dragonasaurus chapter 82 . 2/9/2018
Hello Hawktooth long time no review. I would like to apologise for my lengthy absences from this series I have been very busy the last couple of months, I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Anyway with the sixth and quite possibly final season of RTTE coming out on the 16th, I am both looking forward to that day and dreading it as you can imagine, I've decided that know is the time to write those four reviews I owe you before the new season comes out so without further ado lets get started.

The Stone Sentinel (my preferred full name for this species) along with the Sandbuster is probably my favorite new dragon species from season 5. Combine a Fruit Bat with a Guard Dog and add in a Gargoyle like appearnce and personality, and you've got one of the most unique dragon species seen in this series so far and in this franchise that's really saying something, this entry really did this species justice and I really appreciate the hard work and effort you put into it by making its biology more logical which can't be easy for you, anyway not much else to say other than great entry and dragon, I hope you liked this review Hawktooth and you can expect the other three very soon, until then this Dragonasaurus Signing Out!

P:S I think it's safe to say we all know what dragon species that giant fossilised skeleton belongs to, but was it just me or did skeleton look even bigger then the living specimens we saw in the second movie, your thoughts Hawktooth?
Shadowassassin reborn chapter 84 . 12/24/2017
Well done describing the grim gnasher
Dragonasaurus chapter 81 . 10/23/2017
Easily one of your most unique dragons yet HawkTooth, I have to say it's also nice to another purely Tracker Class Dragon added to this book, know up to four species for this class and hope to see more, It's also pretty obvious to anyone that this dragons name comes from the mythical werewolf, a creature I never thought could be draconic in anyway possible until know well done HawkTooth, also coindental that Dreamworks already has a dragon with a werewolf like persona in the Lycanwing, though that dragon probably is just a myth, anyway great entry and do think you'll do any other dragons species based on other mythical creatures like the Waterhorse, the Hydra or the Chimera. I'd love to see a Chimera like dragon also thanks to responding to my questions so quickly but I still didn't get all the answers I wanted, would the Oceanguard and the Doomfang be considered Class 10 Leviathans like the Bewilderbeast simply for their size and Tidal Classification and will the Luminous Krayfin be making an appearnce in this book, thank you again HawkTooth and I look forward to your next couple of entries, until then though this Dragonasaurus Signing Out
Dragonasaurus chapter 80 . 10/9/2017
As a fellow Reptile lover Hawktooth, I can say this is one of your best entries yet and my own personal oppion the best School of Dragons species created thus far, the detail is exceptional and I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into this Gecko-like dragon and I personally hope it will make an appearnce in the RTTE at some point, there's only one more review to go before I'm all caught up until you post the entries for the Sandbuster, Stone Sentinel, Slitherwing and the Grim Gnasher, looking forward to those, anyway as usual until next time this is Dragonasaurus Signing Off.
Dragonasaurus chapter 79 . 10/9/2017
I have to admit Hawktooth, I didn't think you would do this dragon given its similar appearnce to the Typhoomerang but you've really managed to make it stand out with its speed almost on par with a Nightfury's, the size and Strengh of Typhoomerang, add in a fire that has both a Armourwing's blinding light and a Flightmare's neon glow and this truly an exceptional dragon and I look forward to its appearnce in your series.

P:S I've been meaning to ask you this for a long time Hawktooth but out of the first movie dragons which one is your favorite, also when you consider your answer I would ask you to remove Toothless out of your options because let's be honest we'd choose him every time if I didn't, mine is the Monstrous Nightmare for it following the most classic example of dragon/wyvern in the movie and its ability to set itself on fire is just awesome but I'd really like to know what original species is your favorite and why? Anyway until the next review this is Dragonasaurus Signing Off!
Dragonasaurus chapter 78 . 10/9/2017
As per usual you've done an outstanding job in the describing this complex and unusual dragon Hawktooth, the detail on this one is espicially noticeable and it's easy to see from this dragons behavior that it's kind would get reputations as Great Protectors, curious though the original Great Protector from the show was a female who gave birth to a male offspring before leaving for Vanahiem, yet we never saw her mate or the hatchlings father, do you think that in the show at least Eruptodons breed asexually Hawktooth?

Also since I talked about Tidal Class Dragons so much in my last review it got me thinking, in the second movie Fishlegs refers to the Bewilderbeast as a Class 10 Leviathan and the game School of Dragons mentions that the Luminous Krayfin is also a Class 10 Leviathan, also many entries back I remember you telling me in a reply that Tidal Class Dragons tend to usually be natural Alphas among dragons because their ocean habitat allows them to grow massive in size and hold the postition easier through Strengh and that their mental ability to control other dragons seems come from a common ocean dwelling ancestor, correct me if wrong that's just how I remebered it, but anyway it seems to me that a Class 10 Levianthan is just another way of saying Alpha Species with the assumption that it is also naturally part of the Tidal Class but my question to you Hawktooth is this, would the Doomfang and Oceanguard of your universe also be considered Class 10 Leviathans? Just curious but anyway thanks for another amazing entry and until next time this is Dragonasaurus Signing Off!

P:S will the Luminous Krayfin be making an Appearnce in your Book of Dragons?
Dragonasaurus chapter 77 . 10/9/2017
Im so sorry about the long and they abrupt absence Hawktooth, a lot of stuff has happened for me in the last few months but know I'm back and I am ready to finish those reviews I owe you, starting with this Titanic Tidal Class Dragon. As I mentioned in my Shellfire review, the Submaripper is my favorite new dragon species from season 4 and has made its way into my personal Top Eleven favorite HTTYD species list since then, in a world where dragons come in so many different shapes and sizes, it's nice every once in a while to go back to basics, I find that similar to how the Monstrous Nightmare best shows the more classic dragon/wyvern design out of the original six (seven if you count the Red Death which I'm not sure if you do given how I know how you feel about that dragon) from the first movie, out of all the Tidal Class Dragons I find the Submaripper best represents the classic sea monster design and personality, we've seen other Tidal Class Dragons like Scauldrons and Thunderdrums attacks ships before but we've never seen them actually sink them and then possibly eat people like we did with the Submaripper, twice in fact if Ryker is really dead, though given how villains have a habit of surviving in this series, espicially when they fall into water I'm not to sure about that, anyway overall awesome dragon and awesome entry for it Hawktooth, its debute episode was one of my favourites of the whole series espicially it saving Hiccup near the end from drowning and then in the season final helping the Riders (though probably unknowingly) win battle against the Shellfire and possibly eating Ryker was awesome to watch, I liked how it's Whirlpool attack seems based on Charybdis monster in the Strait of Messina. It's intelligence, throat control and Salamander like appearance in contrast to a Nightfury's Axolotl design makes me think the two share a common ancestor or are related in some way and the fact it took several of Toothless's Plasma Blasts straight to the face without slowing down or even flinching should say something of how badass this dragon is. Finally like you Hawktooth I find it very ironic that one of the dragons you'd say you where never going to do would get put in the show and redesigned so much that you would ultimately change your mind about it, anyway that is my long overdue Submaripper review for you I hope you enjoy it and you can expect the rest very soon, one last question however what is your favourite new species from Season five if you've watch it yet, mine would have to be the Stone Sentinel for its design, intelligence and unique purpose in the dragon world as the Guardian of Vanahiem but I would like to know yours and why, though I think I have a good idea already which one it will be, anyway until next time this Dragonasaurus signing out.
Dragonasaurus chapter 76 . 5/1/2017
This Dragon is probably my second favorite species of RTTE season four right after the Submaripper, not since the Bewilderbeast have we seen a Tidal Class Dragons this unusual. I think the Dreamworks team really outdid themselves with the design of this dragon HawkTooth just as you outdid yourself with the entry you've made for it. I especially enjoyed the Symbiotic Relationship this Dragon can build with local fishing communities, the Eruptodon might be the Great Protector of Volcanic Islands but the Shelllfire is the Great Proctector of the Seas, anyway three down and four to go, until then HawkTooth this is Dragonasaurus Signing Out.
