I LOVE THIS STORY ,, i love soul eater and toradora and this really made me SO HAPPY! i wish it were finished :( its been four years so i don't have much hope, but maybe you will see this! i loved this story, albeit cut short!

I know reviewing is kinda late and all but, I cannot just bid farewell to this fic without even saying how much I love this! I don't know if it's completed, or would it ever will be but, Soul's last text felt like a closure enough. I don't know. I ship SoMa but the way you portrayed their relationship/friendship felt like a complete treasure! I love it and I love them! the last chapter felt open, as if anything can happen to them and they'd go through it together. Some questions are left still but, I'm not going to complain about the status of this fic because this has satisfied me in so many ways!

First of all, I want to applaud you for how you portrayed Patty Thompson. Out of all the Soul Eater characters, I adore her the most and most people wouldn't give her enough justice. They just view her as this cackling kid with no real personality. I'm not trying to sound bitter, but it's kinda disappointing. Which is why I absolutely love her in your fic! You gave layers to her character and I appreciate that. Also, Soul's dreamy crush on her was very sweet to the point that I'd actually want to see what it'd be like if they were together (oops). But that's a fleeting thought. At the very least, I think they'd be good friends though.

I also love how you portrayed the other characters; their personalities, relationships and everything. Incorporating a Toradora concept on Soul Eater was beautiful and I applaud you for your creativity. Everything was well-written, the pace was right, and you captured their roles perfectly. I wished there could be more, and I honestly wanted to see how Soul and Maka would react if Kid and Patty actually got attracted by each other instead of them. It would've been an interesting twist. But, I stand by what I said. I'm satisfied with this read.

So without further ado, I thank you for sharing this story. It was beautiful and perfect and you should be proud of this!

I love this story so much. A friend recommended this to me, and I couldn't believe the genius behind a Toradora AU. How could I not have seen it before! There are so many similarities between the series and you play with them all so well. I am SO ready for the slow burn extravaganza, and I can't wait to see what you do next. Just letting you know I love how you've worked this AU it's toradora esque but it's it's own beast entirely! And it's awesome I really feel like I'm sucked into this world!

So, I realized I was a couple chapters behind on this, but then I also realized I haven't caught up in a year basically, so it was high time for a re-read. And ohh man, I almost forgot just how witty your writing is, and how amazing your characterization for Patty is. I loved your Resbang to death, though I'm not sure if I got around to reviewing it - I think it was one of the ones I downloaded for Peru and read approximately five times, but the depth you give the Thompsons is incredible.

More than anything, the blend of heart and truly funny writing is amazing in this, and I found myself laughing at several parts. Bonus, the humor is super clever, and relevant to the story, as opposed to being made up of throw-away jokes or contained to slapstick moments.

I also love how you adapted this as an alternate universe, keeping the theme of Toradora but still instilling a ton of originality as well as keeping the Soul Eater cast true to their nature. I just got super excited for the rest of my re-read, and of course to catch up on the later updates.

I just had to sit down and physically type out how much this story means to me. I have never seen it read Soul Eater, but I'm familiar with the big characters and the ships. Thanks to you, and your lovely writing, I am sooooo in live with Maka and Soup being and growing into two great characters. I love love LOVE TORADORA, and seeing the skeleton of the plot used to have these two prickly peeps being brought together in this college AU makes me sooooo happy. As soon as I read your story, I went back and finished watching ToraDora (how could I have put it on hold for so long?) and now I'm desperate for the conclusion of Soul Eater ToraDora. Love the story so far.

Eric Whitacre? Are you a closer choir nerd? Because honestly, that man is a God and I never thought I'd see his name anywhere in, well, anything non-choral related. That made me so excited though. When I first heard white stars name, I was like, "wait. Is this a reference to our lord and savior?" But I thought that there was no way that would be the case. But then you, in your forever, everlasting glory, have Soul mention the composer. I screamed a little internally when I read that. Honestly, this was a great chapter and the plot is moving along quite nicely, but the Whitacre reference made it the best one yet.
