That was sad, and you make me hate Sharon harder.

Well this was depressing.
Well written and emotionally rending as it was designed so good job on that. I enjoyed it even though it left me feeling slightly bitter. :P

So sad and well written.
I really like the use of the oneliners to create emphasis on your words. And the parenthesis.
And the story itself is just...you know? Sad, bittersweet, complex ...
The last lines really bring everything to a close (especially the very last one): "Steve figures that's okay too."
