But Voldemort already knows that Snape is a spy, he just thinks Snape is working for him, not Dumbledore. But I'm glad Harry wants to help Snape when he needs it.

Wasn't fifth year the year of the Occlumency lessons? Snape already knew some of what was wrong with Harry's 'home'.

But now Snape is doomed-well, he always was, wasn't he?

I can't believe Dumbledore's denials-after all, he had Mrs. Figg report on what was happening with Harry, right?

I'm really surprised Albus is asking Severus to check on Harry-I thought Albus wanted Harry to be properly grateful that the Headmaster rescued him from the Dursleys (I thought that was why Albus put him there in the first place).

Whatever will Dumbledore do when Snape tells him what's really going on? Why, the same thing he did after the end of the fifth year, of course. Send him back.

RIP Alan Rickman... the best portrayal of Severus Snape.

There are a few spelling and grammar mistakes. But overall a very well written story. I enjoy your story even though it is short now. Thank you for sharing with us!

Spotted an inconsistency. In an earlier chapter you described Amalis's ring as silver. In the chapter ending Snape caressed a gold ring. Unless the previous chapters have been edited, the review stating this story made no sense is way out of line. So far it has made complete sense. The reviewer needs to remember this is AU. Characters will not react per canon. If something different isn't wanted, why read fan fiction? If all that is desired is a replay of the novels, reread them, plot holes and all. Sorry for the rant. Please continue to write. You're quite good at it. Especially for english being a second language. Thank you

I am really enjoying this story and the plot, I've just read it all the way through... again!
