And how we have been waiting to have you back! :P No pressure, though: first things first!

I'm both sad and awed when I think of Torako's and Tatsuma's relationship, which I think you capture very well in this snapshot. They're both incredibly strong and their trust for each other is just wow. Torako is an amazing woman, to be both mother, inn owner, and wife of a man so full of secrets any other couple would be at risk of drifting apart. But they trust each other so much. o.o Even if you can see she's visibly worn by all these secrets, she still believes in him. Awwwwh... I'm so glad you're pursuing this sidetrack of the story. Torako's own reaction when she notices how Tatsuma reacts to the news struck a chord with me, too. Gawd, it's just painful when you had prepared a surprise to make your beloved happy, and then it turns out just to burden him. D: But it's also a treat to see how Tatsuma's life really revolves around Ryuuji (and Torako) and that every new piece of information that reaches him is automatically evaluated based on whether it will be good or bad for Ryuuji. I know Ryuuji himself (in the manga) didn't think Tatsuma was being a good father, but... to me he seems like a great father. :)

Aww how sweet! Ah, but is that a small hint that Shiro is better acquainted with the nature of "fate" than Torako is? Be that as it may, this short piece has a lovely, organic feeling to it with Shiro's hesitation and the hardships of something as simple as replying to a letter.

"With how headstrong my Rin is, h would walk all the way there if he wanted to." x3

As much as I snicker at Torako's faith in "fate" to let her son befriend Shiro's, the passage where she knows what changed his heart is just so full of warmth and loveliness. x3 This reconnection makes sense, it makes lots of sense indeed.

This was soo adorable and yet funny! I can't believe it has already been a year! Happy one year anniversary!

*giggling like crazy* I remember when I was young, I got one of those Chinese traps, yeah, I broke it. I pulled on it and it untwined, I have no idea how. I really like this, it's so cute! "We'll have to cut your fingers off." That'd be my brother! He's so manipulative and mean! Thank you for making this, I just love it. ;-D
