Really enjoying this story! Not sure if it's being updated but I hope it will.

I've always wondered about that walk back to the house after that scene and can see this clear as day. Poor Cora feeling like she still had to explain despite Robert's reassurance such was the heaviness of the burden. I love how you brought them back to each other though. There is no doubt they are, and will always be, strongest individually when together. Love it!
