If you had had Zoro's legacy focus more on his aspirations rather than his friendships I feel like this story would've been more interesting and compelling. As it is, I'm not excited to read the next chapter at all. A Naruto who cares about friends and about protecting them? Seen it and read it 399k.

I also think it's a mistake to view the Strawhats as this one dimensional. They are all best friends and are absolutely willing to do just about anything for each other, but each and every one of them has a dream or a goal. Whether that be reuniting with a whale, being a pirate king, the worlds greatest doctor or swordsman, a brave warrior of the sea, etc. What Zoro gave Naruto was his legacy, and I fully believe a proud man like Zoro didn't mean a crew or his thoughts on friendship. Idk, I'm just left wishing his legacy was more important than a plot tool to give Naruto Nakama.
