That was beautiful! I thought for a while that Bilbo had managed to break the dragon sickness that hung over Thorin and certainly that's what Bilbo was hoping also. The way you wrote him under the sickness went right along with how he was portrayed in the movies, and the end was even more heart-wrenching since you took the time to build up their relationship first. Just beautiful!

Aw, that was so good! I feel like crying now. I thought the ending was sad enough when I watched it in theaters, but you just made it devastating. I loved it. And you really did Bilbo and Thorin justice- I especially like how you wrote Thorin. Again, that was a very lovely fic and I thank you for writing and sharing it!

You know, when you go into a story under the assumption that it's probably just another smut fic, you /really/ aren't prepared to be bawling your eyes out at the end. This was absolutely fantastic. I'm still kind of crying even as I write this. Great job.

I just saw the movie with my sisters and it was incredible! Now I didn't ship this pairing before, but I do now thanks to this xD After seeing the movie I was in the mood to read some fanfiction of the Hobbit and was browsing then came across this. I was like "...Intriguing...*clicks*" And what a nice little gem!

You captured Thorin's madness nicely and wrote him so well and oh my god, your descriptions are spot on and just perfect. The style is very Tolkein-ish. I'm sorry but I have no other way to describe it lol And Bilbo is spot on and just how you wrote his character as well! Just amazing.

Also, please. Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done. The ending wasn't suckish, I think you wrapped it up very nicely. Kudos to you my fellow writer! I hope to see more from you too :)
