A fun story. Love that Joe knew he was being played and I think he played Methos as well.

At least Joe realises that Adam/Methos is playing him. Is only showing him what he wants to be seen. That's more than Duncan realises, for all that he has four Centuries more of experience...

Cool! I've only tracked down a few stories explaining how Joe reacted to coming face to face with Methos and this one is a great one-shot. It is a scene I always wished we'd gotten to see in the show.
