Sweet cliffhanger

A good climax to end on. Although this was well written, I felt that this chapter was a little bit rushed compared with the others - for example, sometimes it was difficult to visualise the sequence with the Brobot, and what exactly L was doing, and it seemed odd how the machine just kind of fell off the roof.

However, the ending was very good, had a good pace, and L's realisation came across very well. I could never really tell while reading these chapters whether or not there would be major character death here, and you haven't given anything away in the story.

Really cool story! PLEASE finish soon! I'm dying to know how it ends! (Well, we probably all know, but every writer has their own interpretation of things.)

Great chapter

The tension mounts! I'm interested to know how Mr. L intends to get around the problem, and whether it will work, or whether Luigi's self-sacrificial intentions will have any effect.

Interesting chapter.

I don't think it's too dramatic near the end. It makes sense that Mario might say and do irrational things after Merlon confirms his worst fears. What interests me is how Mario never picked up on Luigi being injured during the fight two chapters ago, when Mario's fireball hit Mr. L - even if Mario tried to take Mr. L on, what would that do to Luigi?

There must be another way - I *hope* there is another way.

Epic fight sequence! I loved how it was more realistic than anything, burns and all. Plus, even though Mr. L only created some gadgets to defeat the Mario bros. this one totally trumped the actual Mr. L! Great job :)
