Okayyyy, I've read this like...3 times. About time I review! This. Is. Amazing. Then again, I can say that for almost all fics that talk about poor Logan but that one is just...holy crap. The part with Logan and the calendar made me cry and then the part where it said "Logan Not-Walker" was just hilarious (no regrets at laughing at depressing stuff) this is just too good to ignore. You really have a talent when it comes to write progressive stuff like that! I've read your other story and so far, all of them are golden! This story actually made me start to re-write mine since I thought "my" version of Logan wasn't...broken? Very traumatized? I don't know! But it's just gorgeous, keep doing beautiful stuff like this! And I'm still freaking out and crying over this story. Woooow!

You posted this quite a while ago and I don't even know if you post anymore, but I must say good job. I personally love whump stories, the one that make you feel, and its hard to bring such emotion to the reader but you did it, wonderfully too. Furthermore, I like how you wrote about something unique. Not many people play the game and think to write a story- but yet, you did. So, good job.
Gabrielle Lawson chapter 1 . 10/18/2015
You made me cry. And maybe got me off the hook. You see, I just finished Ghosts last night. And it was great. Then it was terrible and I thought I'd have to write a story to fix it so it would stop plaguing me. I don't think I'd do well with the torture (that'd surprise some of my readers) or the military lingo (that wouldn't). So I was hoping to find someone else wrote the right story well. I don't know if yours is the right story but it's darn close. And despite some grammar foibles and typos here and there. It was well-written and might just fit my needs. So a hearty thank you from me.

Freaking. Outstanding. So haunting and beautiful and I loved the bit where Logan fed Rorke! Thanks for sharing!

I really enjoyed reading this story. I was playing COD Ghosts the other day and wondered if there was any fanfiction out there and then stumbled upon your story. I thought the structure was creative and I like how you didn't go into too much detail on the torture but then also didn't gloss over the difficulty of recovery. And there was a line about Logan not being broken, but being changed, which I think would be a realistic result of such a tragedy. Extremely well written.

That was long. But it was fantastic. Poor Logan for being locked up for so long! And I love how you had him slowly progressing with occasional relapses because I feel like that's how he'd react. He's strong enough to get better and move on but not without trouble. I forgot the game took place in 2026 meaning Beanie Babies would be near impossible to find, especially with the Federation attacking all the US, but I love it! haha. I also really liked how you did the first bit where it kinda repeated the previous paragraph but adapted to the current conditions of poor Logan. LONG STORY SHORT: I loved this! It was awesome. I just love your writing style in general! I'm not sure what it is but I just love it.
Lil Red Writin' Hood chapter 1 . 2/9/2015
Personally this is one of my favorite stories on here. I thought the repetetion, especially in the beginning, lent a nice flow to the piece. I also think it was a very smart move to make Logan dependent on Rorke when it came to telling time and I liked that even though Rorke was the villian you did take advantage of certain moments to humanize him. I also liked that you acknowledged that no matter how much time passed or how much he healed there would always be things from Logan's experience that stayed with him. As for the bit about broken knees you posted at the end: our knees actually do affect our ability to walk quite a bit. Depending on how badly broken they are walking can be either extremely difficult or downright impossible. He definitely wouldn't have been able to do stairs. So again, wise choice when it came to having others carry him and having him have surgery. All in all, great job. I really enjoyed reading it.
Gaius Octavius chapter 1 . 1/10/2015
My god, this was one of the saddest stories I have ever read. It really made me feel a little depressed at the end. But that's not to say it wasn't good because it was very well written. The part about Logan obsessing over his calendars really sold me on how really traumatized he was. I wanted to cry for him! :(
You write so realistic and forthright. Thank you for writing this amazing story! D
kiarainu chapter 1 . 1/8/2015
Wooooooooooooooooooow Is GREAT. I loved, poor logan for all that suffered, writing is fantastic because you show the retrieval. :D
I really love your stories. Most of the stories are logan and Keegan :(
blah chapter 1 . 1/6/2015
I have to say this one the best COD:ghost fic i have read. You did the characters very well and the story and how fast it was developing is great.
The way you described Logan just makes him more realistic by the way he acts. So yeah this is a great fic good job :D
If your thinking of doing a another one-shot
It would be interesting to see how Logan deals with a relationship (a bit unlikely he would develop one though) or how he deals with being an uncle (again a bit unlikely given the war going on)
but it would be interesting to see this Logan deal with things like that.
