Interesting story. Ending made me tear up a bit.

You use the term ‘gap’ or ‘gapped’ in the place of ‘gape’ or ‘gaping’. These are words with two different meanings. One means a crevasse, crevice or space between objects while the other means to stare or ogle .

At first I thought this was a typo but it is continuously repeated throughout your stories. So I find myself wondering why you are using words you know not the definition of?

Dear heaven! Only the first chapter, and already the typos make this unreadable! Don't you ever proof-rerad? It is NOT Abe's "pup", but a "pub". A pup is a baby dog! It is NOT the shrieking shake, but SHACK! Harry did NOT attend everyone (as in every single person) but every one, as in each single funeral! And on and on and on...

Beautiful story that had ne in tears at the end when you had Harry have a Natalie Cole moment when Harry sang a song with the memory of his mother singing to him as a baby.
