Awesome job. I love it. Honestly, not really a fan of Hook and Emma together romantically as I felt that he brought out the worst parts of her, but great job with this fic.

David is more of an idiot that I thought if he actually believes Hook wouldn't murder people. He's tried to murder people in Storybrooke before. He was a pirate for over 300 years. Pirates rape and pillage. There is no such thing as a good pirate. So after over 300 years or raping and murdering people, he is completely capable of murdering someone after pretending to be kind of good for one.

1. Attempted murder is a crime. If Emma actually ever did her job, she would have arrested him.
2. Emma wouldn't arrest him even if he had murdered Belle, just like Regina was never arrested for murdering Graham or anyone else and Zelena was never punished for the people she murdered.

I have to at that you are my absolute favorite author on this whole site. I've read pretty much all of your Once stories at this point (ruins of Camelot excluded) and I've yet to find one that I don't love. Your characterization is on point, as always, and your dialogue is freaking beautiful! I'm just going to go ahead and pretend that this is what happened in season 5 and be happy with that. Thanks for an amazing story!

Thank you so much for touching on ALL the bits that continually get glossed over, dismissed or overlooked in the series. I've always felt that the curse was sentient in its own way - otherwise it would have been broken centuries before. The Rumple and Belle you've got here, along with Henry and his unfailing belief, have actually weakened the curse in the same way that Rumple drained the demon. I have hopes that in this AU, those three will eventually break the curse without breaking the man. I vote for him getting the girl and keeping his magic!

Love the story what hook did with horrible and I'm glad him and Emma ended up on a good term I'm saddened the story is finished I want to know what happens after I guess I'll never find out

This is such a well written and realistic Fanfiction. I really hope the creators of the show give this kind of attention to rumbelle's healing,even if they dont this Fanfiction is almost enough. I plan on checking out the rest of your work after I finsh this.

This chapter was utterly perfect, it simply expressed so precisely all the frustrations I have been feeling! Thank you for voicing them in such a marvelous manner. Oh, I enjoyed a little too much to imagine Rumplestiltskin surprising the Charmings like that and Belle finally realizing how unfair they can be and standing up for him.

Both rumple and hook have the same problem they put belle and emma on a pedestal and then they fall of that pedestal. Then belle and emma don't ask for honesty and communication they just expect it
