Uh, where the fuck was I when this was posted? I need to check in more often obviously. This was so sad, I hurt for Roman. He seems so broken. Leave it to pretty ass Seth to break peoples hearts and not look back. But Dean being patient and caring is too much for my heart. I ship them so fucking much. They belong together.

Oh God my heart! Ouch... And here I sit, my coffee forgotten while suffering with Roman. Poor Rome, so much pain :,(

And poor Dean, having to watch all that. It hurts so much, too, not to be able to chase the pain off right away, doesn't it?

Hmm, this was an interesting twist, to make Roman more vulnerable than Dean. I also liked the writing of the story as well. It was funny too, while I was reading it, I kept thinking to myself, I hope Roman opens his eyes and see how much Dean cares for him, and by the end, he does, so I was happy. Good story :)

I knew it was that song before I even started reading this. I felt it. Reading this was like emotional torture because, I'm still feeling angsty over the Shield break up and this was like my worst gaaaah ever. Beautiful as always.

This was so beautifully written. I like the approach that you took, that you wrote it from Roman's side. This is a nice, although very heartbreaking, touch.

Most post Shield stories seem to be broken hearted Dean trying to pull himself together, sometimes with the help of strong Roman, so I love that Dean is the one offering comfort in this story. Lovely storytelling my dear.

That's why I love Ambreigns, you get that they really care for each other and will wait out for each other. this would be great as a multi chapter should you choose to go that route. You know I think that this is the first story I've read about the post shield breakup as Roman being in a relationship with Seth. Most of them are seth and dean focused. I really liked how you could feel Roman still reeling from the fallout of Seth betraying him and Dean wanting to fix him. But Roman hasn't given up on love completely because he's realizing that he wants Dean. A beautiful yet sad story.
