The story started out good but somehow got worse over time instead of better. Chapter 8 was especially terrible with its tone all over the place and some of most unlikable characters i've ever experienced in a story tagged humor/romance. Combine this with a version of the HP universe where magic is somehow my controlled and monitored than the DE's government leads this to basically being a no-magic hp story that didn't want to describe itself that way so try's to get away with 99% mundane and 1% magic.

Harry and Hermione's use of the euphemism "nose powdering" made me snort with laughter.
I have a gaping whole in my upbringing since until now I did not even know that there were such a thing as songs about every sperm being sacred.

This was a lot of fun to read. I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter.

While I am absolutely thrilled to see any new chapters from you because it's always a treat, the idea of Ron being a service stud for Australia makes my eyes burn and my stomach clench. But I'm willing to bear the thoughts of Ron being used as long as I get to read more updates from you. Glad to see you back in fandom with chapters, you have been sorely missed.

I almost missed that you had restarted uploads. SO happy.

It feels a bit as if you're stalling the inevitable (the camping "quarantine") with the last two chapters, but maybe that's just you needing to get back into this world.
Nice way to slowly work towards harmonic bliss, "therapeutic cuddling" hah, great euphemism. I just wish they would not have stopped quite so ... semi-platonic, but at least went "to completion", it's a bit like they do not want to talk about what they actually are, but Hermione seems happy with calling harry her boyfriend, so whatever this is, has a big "Ehhh what are you doing? and why" involved.

I liked also the mending party, but the partiers were slightly one dimensional, reduced to their role in one or two sentences, not written like actual people. Still the concept of "DIY repairs" was intriguing and Hermione accidentally being "too good" was funny.

And then there's Ron. The longer the story goes the less it's really apparent, why they even bother with him... causing a bit of a ruckus at the departure control and having him stay behind without even getting on a plane would have been THAT much easier. Of course he now has found his "calling"... boy oh boy... the conspiracy still seems very sinister, but they're not doing anything evil, just think a bit more bigotted than your average wizard, but Ron isn't harmed, is he? Well more than nature already affected him. He shall have his good luck until "getting tail" is coming out of his ears... and then some more. It's only vexxing why such a "conspiracy" needed a head like Mrs Umbridge, that seems to play more with "abduciton and keeping him in a sex dungeon with all the food he wants and lots of reproductive training, but not allowed to leave or have contact to anybody else" territory, right now it's almost comically harmless. Which confuses me. Also it seems like he won't get much chance now to blunder up and get thrown out of 'straya... i guess i'll have to wait and see :D

Just my thoughts, after all it had been a while and you delivered once more superb chapters to feast on. Fair is fair. But, please, don't let the story turn 10 before it concludes :D

Still enjoying this story. I hope that you continue to write it without the Corona being added. I think it would ruin the story by adding that in. Besides who wants to be reminded of this mess.

LOL - oh Ron. He's living every teen boy's dream. Though if he has a lot of different partners - then there are a lot of half brothers and sisters running around down under. ;) Love Harry and Hermione and all their interaction. Another excellent chapter!

If I'm not mistaken (probably not, lol) Ron just entered a Verbal Contract, particularly one without any restrictions, or concessions (yet), hopefully they won't take too much advantage of him (not that he'd really mind at this stage, lol).
