This is, to be frank, one of the best written stories in this fandom. And certainly of this ship. But it brings to mind the old saying, two for the price of one.

Which I think is this story's pitfall. Chapters like this, is where the story shines. Even if your interpretation of Jade is a tad more whiny and sensitive than the canon one, she's the hero of her own story and she makes it work. Though maybe she could be a tad more proactive.

But then there's the chapters that focus on the moments of the episodes. And there, it's not your version of Jade, it's the canon one, the villain of Tori's story. I feel that there's a disconnect between the two. We spend all these chapters with this more insecure and introspective Jade but then we go back to the entitled brat of the show whenever it's time for personal growth. Just something to think on. Unless of course, you're going to reveal that she multiple personalities, which would be a unique twist.

oh, sorry and you do so so so well with her dad, i mean, he seems to be and ashole on the show. and at least i was a slap, oh no mi dad used to hit me with everithing.

The truth is that Whori's joke made me laugh in a deadly way.
The rape disconcerted me it was interesting and everything, then it also disconcerted me that Jade told Tori not to touch her, I mean, on the show even in a challenging way Jade says, don't be shy Vega, xddd.
well, as always, mixing Jade and Cat with Ari Liz in real life, xddd.
but, another thing is that, in this fanfix, Jade is really annoying, seriously, she is the queen of the drama here, when in the real show she didn't even give a shit about what the teacher or someone else had to say about her behavior, as long as they don't mess with her relationship or her physique.
The truth is that this fix irritated me a lot, the image of Jade was not much respected, with her sarcastic humor even in the worst situations, there is a fanfix, which has this profound meaning and Jade is with her essence and it is not so dramatic.
She is clearly sensitive but she is not the queen of the drama as it is related here.

Oh and Jade as the queen of the drama that is here, I was actually surprised that she didn't feel guilty for not helping Tori control her jealousy, since part of Tori's shit was also Jade's fault and her provocations
for Vega to screw up. I think not many realize this.

Earlier today, I wondered why Nickelodeon wasn't showing "Freak the Freak Out" in reruns. I then saw the one-hour episode on the internet. Elizabeth Gillies and Ariana Grande sang the you-know-where out of the song, "Give It Up." But, the producers chopped up the footage so that we couldn't see it all the way. They couldn't let them outshine Tori. All too often on Victorious, Ms. Gillies and Ms. Grande didn't get the chance to show their musical chops. And I don't buy excuses like, "The show was centered around Victoria Justice," or "Nobody knew that Liz and Ari were going to be stars back then." If you're focusing on your main player to the detriment of the other cast members, you are squandering your TV show's potenial. I was so angry, I turned off the channel, not wanting to stay around for Victoria to sing,"Freak the Freak Out." Even though I'm a fan of Victoria, I can understand why some resent her. That one hour episode was sadly indicative of Victorious: Squandered potential.

Wow. I was not expecting the turn that took, with Jade's dad slapping her. Honestly I thought he was mad re of a well intentioned, maybe in the wrong ways, kind of dad. But you took it to a whole new level with that! I'm thrilled and scared to see where that goes.

And as for that text Jade received, I felt a chill in my bones as I read it, which I can only assume was your intent. The way you pull us in so that we feel the fear with the character is masterly crafted by that beautiful brain of yours!
