Oh my gosh this was great. I've seen fics where Izumi is a firebender, or where she's a nonbender, but this is the first time I've seen her as a struggling firebender. This was great! :D

Oh my goodness this is so cute. I would say continue, but I see there are seventeen chapters and it's marked "complete," so I will enjoy this story immensely! :D

I really loved this story! Such a shame that we didn’t get to see Izumi and Zuko properly interact in canon, but this was amazing! I really like how you wrote their father-daughter relationship in a way that’s realistic, but shows that it’s a warm, loving, and healthy relationship. Iroh’s death was painful, but you handled it very well. The epilogue was perfect, showing that Izumi won’t let Ozai have any power over her, regardless of the trauma he caused her and her dad. Beautiful!

Beautiful story. Read it in one day. Could NOT put it down.

This is honestly my favourite fanfiction of all time! I love Zuko as a Father so much and was disgusted by the lack of scenes involving him and his beautiful daughter Izumi! You are the best! I would absolutely love it if this story was written through Zuko’s perspective also. Just a little suggestion in case you wanted to write more, it’s completely up to you!:) Thanks so much for writing this again. You’re really talented!
