The only thing that frustrates me about what Ivan said is that he can't do more literallylethimtalk. I understand that Alfred has been turned more "feral" throughout his time in the Safari Zone and that was the goal (something i think you reached wonderfully. There's a very big contrast between young Alfred in the beginning of the fic and now). n. I understand that in the beginning Ivan was just doing what his father taught him, and then it was to help Alfred survive, I would feel a little better if I got confirmation that Alfred just prefers to not talk anymore? And I absolutely understand that that's a trait that makes him into the wild child and the whole concept behind it but like I hope you can understand what I mean? Also does Matthew know Alfred is ALFRED? But besides that I absolutely loved the story? Like this is my second time reading it and it's fantastic. Besides that little plot point with Alfred and Matthew I think you're writing is fantastic!

This is really good! Actually I think I am in love with Mattie in this story more than I should lol. And I must say Ivan and Alfred relationship in the beginning reminds me of this Russian film where the two were just not communicate that much but still makes a unique coupling. Also I really love the plot!

Aww that was a really cute epilogue! I'm so happy this is how the fic ended, with everyone getting a happy ending! This fic was amazing! Everything about this was interesting and well written!

loved the ending! It was suprisingly less angsty than the last chapter's cliff hanger suggested. Honestly Ivan's explination on why he kept Alfred in the safari zone almost made me laugh, Ivan you lying dingus you kept Alfred their for your own convienence and as an expirement of sorts. And while in some wierd twisted way you've come to love and care for each other your original purposes were totally you using Alfred. You can't run from the truth (then again if he didn't lie he'd probs have a very upset Arthur and worse Matthew on his hands). And the sex in front of Matthew and Arthur thing was hilarious, I kinda felt bad for them being in that awkward situation.

Ooooh nooooo, did Arthur hit Ivan? Did he hit Alfred? Was the shot fatal? Did hit anyone at all? God dammit Arthur, you may of successfully been able to make Alfred see things your way if you'd just slowly befriended him instead of capturing him. And then Alfred could of slowly been rehabilitated and maybe choose to leave Ivan himself BUT YOU JUST HAD TO KIDNAP HIM DIDN'TCHA. Now you gotta face an angry Russian, homicidal Alfred, and probably the angriest Matthew ever.

(too lazy to log in lol) But oh my god! I've loved the wildchild AU since discovering it on zeemo and shieunni's blogs! I've loved the little tweaks you made to the background story compared to revamped version (which I love the revamped on too don't get me wrong but yours is equally as interesting!). And I like how you show that Ivan does genuinely care for Alfred in a really twisted and fucked up way, Matthew's characterization is a great combo of the soft hearted canadian we know and love and sarcastic passive aggressiveness, Arthur's self righteous heroism (which I honestly can't fault him for because at least he's TRYING to do a decent thing for Alfred even if he's fucking everything up for him, if only he had found Alfred instead of Ivan when he was young), and Alfred is the just the most precious baby to ever be also be a wild, dangerous, survivalist. I can't wait for more I'm so happy someone made something for this AU!

Is it bad that I am rooting for Arthur. Alfred deserves a cushy life at this point. Honestly it seems he could be rehabilitated. His basic understanding of language is there and he does seem to know how to talk. I have faith for Alfred.

Ahh, I don't normally review stories because I'm a pretty shy person but I just wanted to tell you how much I adore this story. It's very well written and feels like a book, not just like a fanfiction, everything is paced well where it builds but it doesn't get boring, and it feels very natural the way things progress.
