The only part that didn't quite work for me was Hermione appearing in Snape's bedroom in the middle of the night. I can't really picture her approaching him *that* boldly, nor can I buy Snape's wards being so weak that she could just march right in. Still, beautifully written and very evocative. It almost brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for writing it. |
