Suicide seems like the most believable fake death for Vader in Darth sidious's mind I mean its not like he hasn't tried killing himself before in the canon comics. I imagine to fake his death he'd need a clone of himself that was strong enough to transfer and hold his force spirit indefinitely without deteriorating and then rid his current body in a way that could truly kill a sith lord. Not many people in the galaxy would even remember the face of Anakin Skywalker but he'd still need to hid like Juno has too, just not as much.
