Indigo-Night-Wisp chapter 1 . 3/28/2015
Season 2 fic is my favorite kind, ngl. It's like, all of the REALLLY bad stuff hasn't happened yet, and their biggest worries are whether or not Sam is going to turn evil all of a sudden. And as usual, your writing is amazing.
Fi Suki Saki chapter 1 . 1/25/2015
The Demon must be an Idiot one If they think the plan would go so well and smooth...

I'm glad Sam wasn't too down. even though he was so close...
Wynefred chapter 1 . 1/18/2015
Awww... I wanna hug this fic tight and never let it go. Or maybe it's the boys I want to hug. Either way, I'm one happy fangirl. :D
BettaPen chapter 1 . 1/17/2015
Lol. I'm so glad the brothers were able to find each other. :) This was an enjoyable read!

Touching, as always!
irismay42 chapter 1 . 1/4/2015
So sorry it took me so long to get the chance to read this! Wow, that was like stepping back in time! Funny how so many of the anxieties the boys had back then still exist now, just in a slightly different format!

I enjoyed that. Gave me the warm and fuzzies!

What a wonderful Christmas present from you to us. :)
I've wanted to say thank you but it was going to take to long on my Kindle to type.
You captured the brothers perfectly from season two as they are still dealing with the loss of their father and the news he left Dean.
Dean's pain when he thought Sam had left again, I think hurt more than his wound.
I loved Sam's determination to see his brother's body and confirm that Dean was dead.
Nice twist with the demons trying to separate the brothers and thus causing them pain with each lie.
Wonderful reunion scene between Dean and Sam, both being able to breathe again knowing Dean was alive and Sam had not left.
Thanks again for sharing another story with us.
Definitely a favorite. :)
KKBELVIS chapter 1 . 12/28/2014
(Spoilers ensue in this review)

Dear K:

This was all kinds of wonderful bliss!

From the Oogie-Boogie monster, to the sweet, elderly lady in the waiting room, to all the Sam and Dean hurt and angst and brotherly love! It's exactly what we want to see/read!

A demon done it!

Awesome how Sam finds this out...and how he won't stand to be kept from his brother...dead or alive! Breaking into the Morgue and searching frantically through all the freezer drawers. OMG! I loved that imagery so much. Could feel Sam's confusion and his panic like electricity.

My absolute favorite part:

A suspicion, half hope and half horror, began to take root in his gut.
Sam whipped through the room, pulling morgue drawers open and sliding them shut again. Many were empty. The few that weren't held a range of ages, ethnicities, and genders, even a young girl. But not Dean.
Sam stood in the middle of the room, puffing like a race horse and running a hand through his hair as he processed that. Not Dean.

And then Dean finding his way to the first motel room in the book ...the taunting voice in his head was brilliant and spot on Dean! Way to drive home and ramp up the emotions of your readers! Kudos!

Adored this:
Maybe, a small voice inside Dean taunted, Sam wasn't planning to come back at all. To what, a brother who'd been tasked to kill him if he went off the reservation? A guy who drank too much and would rather hit those he loved than talk about what was bothering him, and who was an aimless mess without his dad to give him orders? What did Sam have to return to, anyway?

And of course then you give us the crowning jewel: When Sam finds an out-of-it fevered up/injured Dean at the motel under the James Rockford alias!

As we read here:

"Dean?" Hands, cool on his burning skin, skimmed his forehead, his cheeks. "Hey, can you hear me?"/ "Dean, hey, hey." He was jostled, jolted with nausea. Something patted his cheek. "C'mon, man, look at me."/ Maybe, a small voice inside Dean taunted, Sam wasn't planning to come back at all. To what, a brother who'd been tasked to kill him if he went off the reservation? A guy who drank too much and would rather hit those he loved than talk about what was bothering him, and who was an aimless mess without his dad to give him orders? What did Sam have to return to, anyway?

But wait...there's more! LoL.

You added a cherry on top with some sweet brotherly humor and just the right pinch of fluff- with the whole Pie, corndog, nacho-cheese speak.

Vintage K Hanna work here!

Two thumbs up. Toes too!

Loved it! Loved it.

Great hurt/comfort story - as usual! You always serve up the best of the best. And spoil us...

The hurt this time was more emotional than physical; in some ways, the worst kind. I love that you showed how each brother was afraid of losing the other. That no loss could be greater. And the comfort they take in being together again. Wonderful.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and best wishes for a New Year filled with all good things! Until next time...

JaniceC678 chapter 1 . 12/25/2014
What a wonderful story of family love and bonds for a little quiet reading with my coffee this Christmas morning before heading out for a whirlwind day of visiting. They will always find each other in the end!
Twinchy chapter 1 . 12/24/2014
Wow, that was a fabulous idea, Hanna, and so well written!

The two boys were breaking my heart time and again in this thinking the other dead or gone for good. Sammy's bad feeling proved him right in the end, Dean was alive and kicking - pretty much literally - and despaired to no end. Great how they found each other again, even though I had no doubt it would only take a day max to realize the ugly truth about the double deception in the hospital.

Awesome story! I loved the lady in the waiting area with Sam; she just knew he needed the support and offered it with no strings attached, although she had her son in surgery as well.
Freya922 chapter 1 . 12/24/2014
This really stressed me out. Sam believing Dean dead, and Dean believing himself abandoned - how awful! It was such a relief to get to the end of that (damn demons!) and I loved the exchange at then end: Dean's ramblings regarding junk food and Sam's fond response.
