Okay I'm good now. This is so beautiful and perfect. Best of the post Humbug fanfics I've read. Deeks teasing her like that just seems so him.
His question at the end nearly broke my heart, it's sad how nobody ever loved him, he's a loveable guy! Kensi finally able to face what she feels and tell him it's real she's not going anywhere that was just incredibly sweet.
I just watched a rerun of Spoils Of War so I needed cheering up, thank you so much for this.

So gloriously beautiful. The slow honest existence of them coming together mind, body, and spirit. This, this long building burn between them, of Kensi giving up control, of Deeks teasing but respectfully so treats these characters in such a compassionate, mature way. Kudos for this, and not making it the expected "smut" of so many other juvenile fan fic writers.

Ok..so I forgot my login again and I'm too lazy to find it or do anything about it. You know me. But. Okay.

So things that I am: someone who enjoys inflicting maximum pain. Things that I am not: romantic.

Things that Jess and Jess alone can make me: romantic. It actually kind of disturbs me.

Moving along. What I love about this piece is that it's a rather brilliant character piece wrapped up in a whole lot of sexy and romantic. We are seeing a rather hilarious battle of wills going on here but also this wonderful understanding that these two people who are FINALLY figuring it out are grasping that they want each other. And want to be with each other.

You have Kensi who doubts everything and is only reckless and impulsive with her life and Deeks who falls head over heels and yet they're just kind of getting each other - he realizes she has to to fall with him...but at her own speed and you do this amazing job of making all of this happen while he's kissing her and touching her (and I'm quite fond of the visuals of him nibbling along her jawline...I'm not overly sure why). They're having this great relationship understanding while they're both naked and he's teasing her and she's driving him wild and he's in control but she's ceding it and ...I love it.

And then the little notes like "inside" and where he said lets go snowboarding (he's lucky he was still able to do what he did to her next after that) and then the just switch from me wanting to smack him to me wanting to hug him with the one line about nothing being able to pull him away from her. So very Deeks (you always write him so ECO). So very right.

This piece was perfect because it was perfectly them.

And also bleeping hot. Really bleeping hot.

This...this is perfection. Is it bad that I find myself praying for snow on mammoth mountain so they can stay a few more days? Is it also bad that I wish you would write more about their extended vacation?

This is wonderful and I don't think I can read it enough times.
