I have just read your beautiful little story. It was really cute. I like that Hiccup is more like his Canon-self, the more he is with Astrid. I'd like to read the rest of their story, but I'm sure you have your reason not to write :)
I really enjoyed your original story and liked the character presentation.

somehow i doubt after 3 years that this had a happy ending at all...

Well holy fuck.
That was quite the ride. Indeed the easiest three hours I had to wait for a plane (how ironic is that).
For starters let me tell you that your writing is utterly sublime. You're very expressive, certainly gifted for words and it's amazing how your writing gets us hooked from the first sentence to every freaking cliffhanger. Your skills are admirable, very talented writer.
This story made me laugh, made me frustrated, horny...fuck it made me Feel! The characters, despite being an AU, are on point and I just love reading a good start hilarious flirty banter. Not to mention hiccstrid smut.
Congrats on this amazingly well written story. For sure one of the best modern AU's I've came across in this fantom. I hope someday you get back to this and deliver us that promised happy ending. Thank you for sharing this with us, looking forward to read more from you!
