This was really cute! I enjoyed both May and Brendan's characterizations. May's fascination with the pictures was a nice touch, and their relationship seemed really natural. Your descriptions, particularly about the stars over the ocean, were also fantastic! I thought it was funny with May's parents wanting them together- That totally sounds like real parents!

Ah, stargazing is so romantic, isn't it? I really loved this cute little story (what a surprise), especially how you characterized Brendan. I'm so glad ORAS gave him (and May, but I've only played as her so far) more to do and to say, the scene after May becomes champion was especially heartwarming, and I think you captured his personality (at least how I imagine it) very well.
I also liked that it's more or less May who makes the first move and that she is very honest about her feelings, without pressuring him. In all the stories from you that I've read, I liked the female characters a lot, you write them determined and strong, but also believable and showing weakness at the right moments.
If you ever write more about the two of them, I'll be sure to read it!
