Happy New Year poetif!Always a pleasure when I read one of your fantastic and beautifully written one is pure perfection,very realistic and what should have happened between Elliot and you,for the life of me I could not understand why the writers chose to place Elliot back with his wife in a dead marriage after two years for one,and then further made matters worse by knocking her up!You followed the story line to the letter poetif,kept EO in character,kept in format,this was brilliant and nothing short of the writers wants us to believe that there was never any feelings out side of the job between them,setting Olivia up in dead end relationships will never help or stop,because like I said on numerous occasions,Elliot and Olivia fell in love from the inception of the show,and no amount of happy family with someone else will EVER change the truth for what it Olivia up with Brian Cassidy was a fatal mistake,they expected the viewers to believe that Olivia had the hots for him all along,when in truth we all knew she could not stand him in season one,then to bring him back thirteen plus years later and try to make it seemed like he was a missing piece in her life?!I am glad in a way that Brian returned,it just proved once and for all that we were right all along,and that the ONLY missing piece of the puzzle that Olivia Benson truly love,respected and trusted and is the Only man who can fill the VOID in her heart on this show IS Elliot Stabler and this will NEVER,EVER STOP END OF of my venting!Lol!Thanks poetif for ALWAYS keeping it real,fantastic story loved it. Yes, I have troubles with this ep too, it seriously under-estimates Elliot (as well as torturing him unnecessarily). Some lovely truthful lines in this. But really I just like him leaving Kathy's and going to Olivia's *siiiiiiiiigh*. There's truth just in that. This scenario trusts Elliot to be strong enough and perceptive enough to see his life for what it is, move on and create something new. He was always capable of it, they just never allowed him to.

I wish the show went this route, but noooo they have keep their distance. Oy, damn Dick Wolf... Can't wait for chapter 3!
