I came across the continuation of this story so I had to stop here and read the one shot. I very much enjoyed the story and the characters. Very disappointed in Renee but more so in Charlie. It is somehow expected of Renee since she is a half assed mother in most stories but Charlie is usually a good father even if he usually isn't very affectionate. I hope the continuation answers some questions for Bella where he is concerned. If he wasn't a good man then it would be obvious why he has ignored his daughter but the story portrayed him capable of love and loved by his friends. Maybe it had something to do with Renee keeping them apart? Well, can't wait to read it.
