Just to let you know I am on mobile and just stared at my screen for a good 5 minutes trying to figure out how to review. Haha -_-'

Anyways, I have read this fic from about the beginning couple chapters during my lunch breaks at work. They were the high light of the day sometimes due to the holiday. I really did enjoy this fic, partly because it was an idea that hadn't been done before and then there were the hints of fusionshipping (which I am a big fan of for one reason or another ).

I'm kinda sad to see it finished, mostly because I want to know what happens next. However I did enjoy your writing and I hope you keep up the good work!

So just your first conversation with her, and you're not liking Yubel already, huh Ryou? Kind of don't blame you, Yubel does have *that* thing, but I guess, eh. Anyways, it seems like you've gotten yourself a pretty nice place. Just have to note that glorious death part though - seems like Ryou's still on that quest for a satisfying duel. Might be canceled out if he loses because of dumb luck, but it's the Hell Kaiser - no way that's going to happen.

And now Juudai's willingly answering Ryou's questions. He's still very much like the Juudai we knew - helping out others because, well, why not? And it seems like there's no penalty for asking these questions... or at least, not yet. Well, it depends on what else formally accepting the position of champion has to offer, aside from dining. But as it stands, it doesn't seem to sit right with me. But that's probably me coming from my: "Everything has to have something behind it or else we don't have my way of writing". Anyways, once again I shall wait for the next update.

And...Yubel's started talking to Ryou. It seems perfectly fine now, though, so I honestly shouldn't have to worry. Just curious as to what is explained there.

But the one thing I'm wondering is that, as previously seen, Haou's champion can become king once Haou's done, whether that be natural death or something happened. Which honestly makes me wonder why Ryou? I understand that he has a strong dueling style, and in a world where that is needed, this is a must. But considering I don't know who this Haou is, I'm having troubles guessing the other reasons. I do think they shall be explained later on though, so I should wait for that.

Along with the whole Juudai thing. The earlier chapters made me think: no, he's not Haou, but here? There has to be something that connects the two of them. But considering you said that this and Rise of a King were within the same verse, I'm pretty sure I would have to wait for that to get to this world in order to figure things out.

Wow. This was a very good chapter. I am definitely looking forward for the next chapter.
