I will blame this on just having read a Harry Potter fic (with it being Harry Potter's birthday weekend) but WHY did it take so many years for me to put that together?! I've loved both fandoms as long as either they existed or I was old enough to have the Hobbit read to me when I was I think 6-7. Add in I've read this fic several times and never connected it (Maybe cause I usually read fics in groups of the like fandoms and hadn't got to an update/reread of this right after a HP fic) but yeah, next time I talk to my mom and sister, I am gonna ask them if they realized this.

I love Thorin’s (and the other dwarves) reactions to Bilba being a “princess”. Now I’m wondering whether that makes a difference to Thorin? Is he more likely to consider marrying Bilba now that he knows she is the hobbit equivalent of a princess?

I agree with you that they are the SAME MEAL! Supper is casual, and dinner is formal, I believe. I thought the same thing as you, that they would have a bedtime snack to make it seven meals.

It's 2 am and I just finished the last updated chapter. I love it! Now I can't wait for the next update.. I feel lucky I randomly came across this. I'm stressing out with all the people with different letters for everyone and everyone leaving before they are able to miss them. I love how you finally put Bilba's and Thorins deal with the ladle in the story.

And so certain friends meet well ahead of schedule. Scheming little baby Dwarf. His "cousins" would be proud. It'll be amusing to see when and how Strider himself finds out the young Dwarrow that insisted on joining his travels is actually an underaged escapee stubbornly making a way to join an Adventure... Gimli is Battle Ready, after all, and so /looks/ old enough -to uninformed eyes, like a Man's- to maybe have been set to accompany him even though he technically snuck out. *giggles*
