I felt the sadness, mourning, and grief from this story than the actual movie, and it was beautiful.

I love the implication. You never outright said it, but every time you repeat "They never found the body", you can hear Callaghan's secret. He secretly hopes he isn't dead either. This was an incredible piece. I love your subtle hints and subdued tone!

hmm is tadashi dead tho? is he really dead. he could be in a coma.

An interesting, haunting story. I wouldn't have thought about Callaghan thinking of Tadashi's death as being Krei's fault, but it actually makes a lot of sense both plot-wise and character-wise. You portrayed Callaghan's sanity slippage beautifully. I wish there were more fics like this out there. Keep up the good work! :)

That was excellent. Does a great job depicting Callaghan's mental processes as he has to hurt more and more people just to hurt one person, up until it all comes crashing down. Great exploration of what it feels like being joined with and then separated from the microbots, too.

This is very interesting :D I wouldn't have considered writing a fanfiction (character study or not) on Callaghan's side of things, and I like how it turned out. Although for some reason one of the things that I like the most is how you did the parentheses and the italics inside them. I like the effect that gives it. I also like the repetition of the "Tadashi is dead."/"They never found the body."
