Quite a shame that this seems to be dead, it was certainly a great read while it lasted.

I swear the people who write the best stories always leave them untouched for years! Gah! This story is so GOOD and just awesome and obviously WAY different to other "second life/second chance" stories, what with the Shire getting attacked and all and that makes it WAY BETTER! I am super curious to see what changes next, and obviously Thorin and Bilbo weren't the only ones sent back (personally, I think it's Saruman because how else would he know about Thorin's Quest's path or that the Hobbits came from the Shire) and I want to know for sure who it is and the why's and how's of it all!

I am certainly looking forward to the continuation.

I do find it odd Bilbo is so determined to take offense to Thorin and get him back for a slight that's happened 80 years ago. How does it matter in the light of all other things? To be fair, Bilbo was unsuited in the beginning and thorin had no time to waste. I can't wait till they realize they both know, haha.
