I think I know why Bruce wanted to wait to deal with Jason, if it had been Dick he would have dealt with him right away. But Jason had been abused by his natural father so for Bruce to punish him while angry would only send the boy into flashbacks and make the entire situation worse.

That would probably be Jason...

Green is not Jason's color... That boy is gonna get him self in major trouble...

Wow, three wonderful chapters! Sorry it's taken me so long to review, but I have really enjoyed your take on the Batfamily! Your Bruce is a treat to read - he cares deeply about his sons and is very aware of what is going on in their lives, even if he isn't quite sure what to do or say about it. I liked the interaction between Dick and Jason a few chapters ago, and how Dick went to the trouble of reassuring Bruce. I think my favorite part has been your take on Jason and the interactions between Bruce and Jason. I think it's hard to get a good handle on Jason, and you've done an excellent job here. He has so many insecurities, but in a lot of ways, I think he's the most like Bruce out of any of the boys, both in his dedication to the cause and his willingness to risk anything to save Gotham, one person at a time. If he'd lived, I've always kind of thought that he'd be the one to take on the Batman mantle eventually. Tim thinks the most like Bruce, but I think he's like Dick in that he would eventually find his own path. For whatever reason, I could see Jason following Bruce's. I liked Bruce's interaction with the younger boys a lot, and I liked the way that you showed Tim- and Bruce -keeping tabs on the team, showing Tim's strengths here in the story as well. Dick is by far my favorite character, but I'm very much enjoying your take on the younger boys and their relationships with Bruce as well. You're writing them all with sensitivity and playfulness, and it truly is a joy to read. Thank you so much for going to the effort of writing and sharing!
