I loved every part of this! A very unique and meaningful personal story that gives insight into Sharon's character as well as parallels her "relationship" at this point with Andy while using the lovely angel/Christmas backdrop so many of us love from this show. I especially love that you didn't include the letter itself, leaving it to our imaginations. I'm sure you would have done it more than justice but I love even more that you took the risk to leave it up to each of us. Or maybe that's just my way of accepting that a story I didn't want to end did, in fact. ;)

I just noticed I haven't left a note under this wonderful and sweet story. Oh I'm always happy to read some of Sharon's family and her aunt sounds lovely. Now dear... what the letter says and how about a phone call between Sharon and her aunt? Cause I would love to read that!

Oh - that story about her aunt and uncle just broke my heart, but it lends a lot symbolic depth and wisdom, certainly, to the situation that Sharon now finds herself in. I liked reading the nuanced follow-up you took to that episode and it's scenes - on all fronts: Andy (knowing he was wrong and trying to take responsibility now), Rusty (knowing he had made her uncomfortable and perhaps a bit unhappy), and Sharon (thinking through all her options and exploring them). Thanks for sharing it!

I so love the opening lines of this story. Just wonderful opening. The little background story of Sharon's aunt and the first angel she bought; loved it. Andy writing Sharon a letter about his feeelings; omg love it (now,I'm imagining what he wrote, the poor little idiot). The talk between Rusty and Sharon; love it. The story is perfect and so wonderfully executed and written. Perfect. Thank you for sharing. )

I think it is interesting that Andy wrote her a letter . That's Jacks M.O. But his letters are always dear Sharon letters whereas this letter hopefully will help her understand Andy and his motives better .Great Work !

The story of Aunt Martha & Daniel was a great parallel for Sharon's story with Andy. Glad she finally read the letter. I was hoping to get a peek at it but it still worked without it.

This is a really wonderful piece. I really like the thoughtful and realistic approach you have taken south Sharon's thought process. Its perfect for the character. Its also perfect that she has this server person who inspired here lost in get background. It all fits perfectly.

I hope you plan to flesh this out father for us. I look Forwardp to reading more and seeing where you totally this story.

This is such a beautiful story! I love the idea of Aunt Martha and the story Sharon told Rusty about her. It's so sweet to have her sitting on the Christmas tree, too. Rusty being there for Sharon as a sounding board is great and I love the letter! Of course I wish we knew what he wrote, but I guess Sharon won't share that. :D It's such a lovely, round story.
