This fic is really great and exceptional in a good way, youve done an great work, and im surprised at how few reviews this story has 10 years after being published. (not my own, that needs work!). um, I do not want to be a nuisance, but I wonder of you would read my original fiction-Summer Fire. The only constructive crtiqueing i can give is in your first couple of chapters, when Amy tells them who she really is, Surely there must be someone a bit surprised to find out., and also a little more like "we are going to rivendeel! really? commentary for future stories any way. I enjoyed reading all 25 chapters. When I started, I was like "25?" But it went quickly and I became eager to read the next section. After reading much poorly writen fanfiction, it is a pleasure to read something decent and where the author takes Canon into account and works her story around that, instead of changing Canon to fit her ideas.

I've held off submitting a review until I'd read enough of the story to have a feel for it. I'm liking this. Granted, I don't know much about LotR or the Canon characters, but I feel you handle it well. I like that you don't try to do much with the Canon, as that's always tricky to get the characters right. The romance with Elrond seems to be well done. No major complaints on that. I like that you stick with your own storyline and don't hijack LotR. I was discussing OC's with people the other day, and someone was saying it's hard to do. It is, and I think you've done it well. I like the blending of Canon and your own ideas. And I *really* like this: "In the morning, Amy said nothing more than that she’d had a change of mind concerning them. “I changed my mind—woman’s prerogative. I’m not going to give you any more answer than that.” She grinned at them. “Yes, I’m being mysterious. Deal with it.”" I like her comments there. It doesn't come off as obnoxious or condecending, but as humerous, and with the relationships you've built up so far between Amy and the humans, it works. Good job!

It is one, if not the, most detailed fic I have read so far. I love it. It's original and exciting. Keep up the good writing.
