That's was so close, ech... ;p

Besides Alejandro interruption, this scene fit to series very well. Diego was in a hurry to change in Zorro's clothes and went after the girl and her assassin and there he couldn't because his "stupid" father gave him a sermon. ;p

Diego got the right decision and evaluated his feeling towards Anna Maria. So even with encouragement from his father, he reminded silent. I like how Alejandro wanted to ease his son's burden with the whole affair.

Great scene! Diego confessed the truth but in such circumstances, Alejandro didn't notice. And after his remarks why Diego should convince him it was true?

He prepared his sentences silently but still couldn't tell them aloud.
Worse as he prepared to ask senorita to marry him! ;p

Ooh, a nice change of pace! It's good to see Alejandro starting to add two and two together :) It would be great to see another chapter with Alejandro being the one to try and tell Diego he knows his secret. Fantastic work - please consider writing another should you find the inspiration and ideas!

Poor Diego! Well done, you always get me feeling for him, and I wish I could jump into the story and shake some sense into Alejandro. It's sad that the next chapter is the last (for now anyways, I think) but I've really enjoyed these chapters and I will definitely come back to read it again when I get the urge!

Once again, beautiful work! I'd love to check out "Zorro: A Son Comes Home" if I could gets my hands on it :/ Oh well, I still have this wonderful collection to read! I think it's bittersweet that Diego suffers because his father is unhappy with the role he took on to protect him, and it's shown wonderfully in this chapter :)

Chapter 10 brought me up and now this has brought me down (in a good reading way ;)) It broke my heart to read this, but it was written wonderfully. You're amazing at bringing out these emotions - the chapters aren't very long, but you manage to pack so much into one siting! Brilliant!

This was beautiful! I loved how heartfelt (as well as heartbroken) both father and son sounded when they were talking, or at least trying to. This was one of my favorite episodes where Alejandro recognizes that Diego, though he doesn't work the same way others do, is still precious and can still help in his way. Gorgeous job!

I enjoy all of these chapters so far, and I know it will only get better. It's painful to read the words because they seem so accurate, even if it is AU. It's always bothered me that Diego could never really find someone who was just as interested in him as well as Zorro (maybe with the exception of Theresa). While I enjoyed Ana Maria's character, it bothered me that she seemed to take advantage of Diego and Ricardo, but always fell back on her admiration for mysterious Zorro. Anyways, I'm rambling now - thank you for another beautiful chapter with Alejandro and Diego :) I can't wait to see what's next!

I loved this one, short and sweet, but still full of plenty emotion from Diego. I loved how you ended it :)

Great job once again - Diego's anxiety is tangible in each chapter and I feel as though I'm with him when he tries to speak but never fully does. I can't wait to read the rest!
