Okay, now we're getting in the good stuff.

Also Snot and Ruff, seriously, I know they don't like listening to Hiccup but would it kill them to do so once in a while? Not complaining of only this story, but the franchise as a whole. Seriously, even then I think stubborn isn't strong enough a word to describe them.

And I like that the Screaming Death is actually on Hiccup's side in this, a bit fed with having it being a bad guy (says the dude who implicitly, due to it being absent, stated said dragon as a bad one in my own fic by calling it a jerk, yeah, I'm not that bright sometimes lol).

Plus, I like Sharney already, I think she's fun to read haha.

The scene with the yaknog made me chuckle, I had nearly forgot this was a thing Astrid did lol.

I have two things to say.

1 : I can't help but find Stoick and Hiccup's interactions adorable.

2 : Badass Hiccup is badass, nuf said.

Ps : laughed so much at the start of the fight and when Astrid was stuck to the wall XD

Why do I have a bad feeling about this?

Ok, I admit I was surprised of how big Stoick's PoV was in this chapter, but there's still something… touching, for lack of a better term, about his thoughts, and it made me smile, not a big shit-eating grin, just, you know, a small smile, like when you're trying comfort a friend and tell them everything's okay, that kind of smile.

And as I had thought, I'm enjoying the story despite the recurrent errors concerning the capital letters.

Well, that escalated quickly.

Just for fun I looked at how many I's weren't in capital, counted 23, plus a "m" at the start of a sentence. Not gonna do that the whole story though, I can tell already it will be a recurring error, but it's one that should happen casually in this story, so the quality shouldn't have suffered that much in later chapters.

Ps : dunno why I like Hiccup's thinking in most stories that much, must be that "trying to satisfy everyone and royally screwing up in the process" thing, since I'm the same lol. Tho in his case the creators of the franchise cranked that up to eleven lmao.

Also to anyone wondering yes I know this story was started nearly 4.5 years ago, but Idc, the I's just stand out too much to miss. Not that this could stop me from enjoying the story.

I think that you captured toothless’ personality perfectly in this story. I hate when people make toothless arrogent or cockey in the stories because hiccup says that he saw himself in toothless and hiccup is never cockey
