Reviews for Changing History
cheevi chapter 7 . 6/20
I have read this story for the second time now. This is one of my favourites! Succinct is the word that comes to mind. A strong and decisive Hermione is always a pleasure to read. My only criticism would be that you were too kind to Snape (for his tendency to bully children and be spiteful). That should have been called out at least privately between the two. But oh well, this is your story and Snape is one of your favourites and that is understood. Thanks for writing and I hope you keep on doing so!

This is really good! I love all the stories of yours that I've read, but this one is the best!
gentledove2 chapter 7 . 3/17/2019
What a mammoth undertaking in writing this fascinating story. I stayed up all night long to finish it. You did an excellent job crafting this story and I am grateful that you took the time to share it with us!
shiningmoments chapter 7 . 1/26/2019
Excellent story, well written. Thank you!
Hetc chapter 7 . 1/2/2019
Thanks for the great story. Hermione's summary of the war against Voldemort is succinct and would have been very hard for her. It is realistic that 'her' Harry and Ron would be lost and she would still grieve for them. I like the less obvious positive changes, including recognising Ron's talent and uniqueness. The new Hogwarts sounds like a more inclusive and welcoming place for all.
robituputup chapter 7 . 11/25/2018
Amazing fic! The only thing it was lacking for my personal tastes was at least a bit of sshg interactions. Thank you for the great reading piece!
nedjheret chapter 1 . 6/25/2018
I'm vaguely concerned about the Elder Wand angle here. Doesn't Dumbledore wield it in this time?
excessivelyperky chapter 7 . 6/10/2018
Lovely conclusion!
excessivelyperky chapter 6 . 6/8/2018
Very good summary, and look at how the war can be won right then. And Hermione is right, Snape deserves better than to be indebted to Dumbledore. Dumbledore tends to give favors with a slave collar attached.
excessivelyperky chapter 5 . 6/6/2018
Yes, scarring someone for life for something they were likely threatened into doing (or Umbridge could have gotten some real Veritaserum) is ever so...Gryffindor, isn't it? I notice she failed to mention how the twins almost killed Montague. How special. Also, Hermione failed to mention that Harry really didn't want to learn Occlumency very much.

And Harry blamed himself for Sirius Black's death for about five minutes-he rapidly changed to his default setting, which was to blame Snape for it.

But Hermione won't mention that part.
excessivelyperky chapter 4 . 6/6/2018
I'm surprised that Sirius Black didn't instantly regret that he was never going to be able to kill Snape, myself. He *never* apologizes, even when he knows he's wrong.

And neither do most Gryffindors, because dear Albus has taught them that they are always right. I wonder if Hermione is going to mention that Sirius tried to murder Snape in PoA through Second Injury Syndrome? Or that Fred and George nearly murdered Montague? My guess is no.
