I still occassionally come back to this story amd reread it all and then just sigh happily. It's just such a great fanfic and while I've lost hope of it ever getting an update, I just want to thank you for writing this regardless. It's always a pleasure to reread.

ohhhhhhh snap! Ahh Sanji, good ol' Sanji. His chapters never cease to amuse me but maybe it's because I enjoy how he can find a way to curse in almost every situation (much like his boyfriend). Poor Kuina doesn't know that her dead boyfriend is actually very much alive and the cousin of her brother's boyfriend. I like how you still continued to incorporate their relationship into the revamped version, the way it played out with the twist in the story adds more depth to Kuina and makes Mihawk more human with his vulnerability to the person he loves. Sanji and Zoro had a freakishly adorable moment when Sanji was saved. Who knew Zoro could actually be poetic? I sure didn't. Also, why do I get a feeling that the killer was actually Hawkins? Hmmmm. It'd be funny if it really was him and Luffy at some random point decides to invite him over and the scene blows up from there.
I'm super excited to see Ace's chapter next! His phone call with Sanji showed that he really had some serious doubts pertaining to Luffy and I wonder just how much Ace will ponder on his past to see what he could've done because let's face it, Ace is a cinnamon roll who will find a way to blame it on himself one way or another. Ace's chapters have always been my favorite since his persona is just the embodiment of the type of person I'm normally friends with.
On a side note (and as mentioned previously) I love how your still finding ways to incorporate the old story with the new one and giving it a cool spin. It's really exciting to read a piece of the new version and recognize some type of detail from the original. (I've read both versions so many times that recognizing the similarities have become my specialty haha)

Oh My GOD!
This fic I really-really good! Actually I am just looking for ZoSan stuffs and ended up in this one because I want to try LawLu sometimes. This fic is not just intense, but there are angst, humour (seriously, I really like to read your funny Omake especially the conversation between Kidd and Ace about Law), romance (FLUFFINESS for ZoSan), horror (the last chapter was really-really made my stomach churns), hurt/ comfort (Ace, Luffy, Kuina... dammit :'(), family, etc... every genres are contained in this fic so much I can't tell my brain to stop for reading this.
I'm looking forward for the next chapter, hopefully you will have a lot of vacant time for doing this fic and updated the next one xD

I was so afraid Sanji was going to die! I knew it wouldn't really happen because he's like one of the main characters in this fic but was still so scared. Poor Kuina, she's got terrible luck with men. Can't wait for Ace's chapter. Also can't wait to see what you'll do with Robin in this version. I loved the 'Devil's Fruit' Robin because she was so enticing but am excited for any surprises install for her and us. Also, I'm guessing Nami's still obsessed with her? And is Luffy having romantic feelings for Ace, or is that later on in the fic? Anyways, CANNOT WAIT FOR NEXT UPDATEヾ()

Poor Luffy, he really is suffering but tries to be good for Ace. And Ace is just so protective I love it hehe. Can't wait for more bonding and them getting to know each other but... now the warning?!
Omg! I feel like Hawkins is overly obsessed with Luffy and his hate(jealousy?) gets in the way of this thinking and actions. Also, ;) I see the future foreshadow of AceLu hehehe. I wonder what/who the magician is? Hmmm. Also... IS LUFFY GOING TO SHOOT ACE? OR LIKE GET CONTROLLED TO OR SOMETHING!? NOOOO
The 'bros' in the fanfic is so funny, good relationship.
Oh right! When Ace meets Bartolomeo chapter! I couldn't breathe hahahaha poor Marco, always having to deal with shit. I have a lot more I want to say, but lets leave it at that haha... though I do have a question. What is so bad about knowing their real names? I am still confused about that.

Okay how long has it been since I've written a review? I'm so lazy honestly. College things take too much time haha.

Anyway, I've still been keeping up with the story, I promise. It's become a permanent tab on my phone for when I need a good read. This chapter, oh lord. I officially appoint Kidd as Luffy's #1 bro/concerned mother (of course king of the bros will forever be Sabo though, sorry Kidd).Am I the only one who found Ace calling Kidd to voice his concern about the phone call to be super adorable? Because honestly, that's so sweet. I can only imagine how that conversation went. The interaction between Ace and Kidd is really nice actually, I love the details you put into the story :))

About Hawkins though. Wow. I know someone who's a lot (and I mean ALOT) like him. Which made his character so much more freaky to me. The extent they're willing to go for someone they love, their twisted personality having the power of taking over a seemingly shy and innocent being. Not to mention Hawkins is a genie and can see the future, as luffy put it.

I feel bad for Ace, he only ever really wants the best for Luffy and that doesn't seem like it'll happen. Sanji though, ouch. I'm curious to see if his actual family is going to be incorporated into the mix now that we know who they are and how big a dirtbags the majority are as well. As for Blackbeard. The dark side of me would actually be interested in seeing him and Ace interact in the future (or maybe I'd like to see Ace scared or pissed or both because he's just that great of a character). But according to Ace he's dead so oh well. Maybe he'll pull a "Don Kreig" style rebirth like in the original story.

Poor Luffy is also trying his best to be the very best like no one ever was. Sadly he himself doubts too much, thinks too much (like me *cough*) and finds himself spiraling downwards constantly. Maybe a certain someone can help him and keep him happy.

On a side note, not only do I continue to fangirl about this story in front of my friends, I now openly refuse to converse with them the minute I actually click the link to the , I may or may not have screenshot an image in my phone of the words "KILL" and "NO" being top to bottom on the page. That may or may not be a running meme among my friends. We may or may not use it sarcastically when it comes to homework or school or out dating life, etc.

Like always, keep up the good work and I hope your new life style is going good! I'll try to actually review the next chapter in a timely manner next time around haha

Only when I got a notification that you've updated again did I realise that I haven’t even read the last chapter (shame on me!). I totally thought I did...but after reading the end I was just a little bit glad, because the cliff hanger wasn't as bad as it would’ve been otherwise! Seriously, when I read what Hawkins told Luffy and Luffy's reaction to it I was like: No! No, no, no, no, no! They can't be separated now, noooooo! And I was so relieved when I read this chapter! ”

And I have to say I love Hawkins' character! Just like you said, he's a wild card and I'm so curious what he's going to do now with both Ace and Sanji! They both better watch out now! And this chapter was written so nicely. The two different sides of Hawkins struggling for control inside him and the poor Auntie! I was so relieved when he handed her the towel, let me tell you! /

And Kid showing up at Hawkins' door. That was a really interesting conversation. But the Omake! Kid telling Ace he's met that super hot guy and Ace's reaction upon realising it's Law. XD Hilarious! Will Law eventually make an appearance btw?
